Great News - when you sign up for this subscription, you can select if you prefer gold or silver jewelry (and clip on or pin earrings).

Now, time for the jewelry!

Anne Thomas Cuzco Earrings - Value $113

Subscribers will either receive a coral or turquoise lacquer. (And you'll receive the metal of your choice. And you can pick pierced on clip-on earrings.)

Here they are on:

This piece is made of brass and gilded with 18K gold (or soaked in a silver bath if you went with the silver option.)

All Emma & Chloe pieces also come with a certificate of authenticity:

And jewelry care instructions:

Verdict: I really like the earring design this month. They are a subtle amount of gold, and the little coral lacquered square is a nice accent touch. (And these clip-ons are surprisingly comfortable!)

In general, if you love delicate jewelry like I do, I highly recommend this subscription.

Plus I love that they let you specify if you want gold or silver - I think that really helps cut out the risk of this subscription. And the packaging and presentation of this subscription box are amazing. This definitely qualifies as a gift to yourself - it was so fun to unbox!

I had such high hopes for this subscription, I love the ring but the stone fell out after a month and customer service said they only will exchange within 30 days of purchase. September was not a great month for me because I do not wear earrings but at least the quality of these looks nice. I canceled my subscription but was planning to re-sub in November. Now that I know their policy on quality control I think I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Really disappointing!

*update* Caroline from customer service reviewed my case and they decided to replace the ring after all. I think September was a busy month where a few things went wrong. Since they are making it right, I feel better about resuming a subscription.

This was my first month with Emma and Chloe and I think it will be my last.. There were 2 promos going on when I signed up.
One was pay $35 for the first month but you also got to pick a prior months box for free. So 2 boxes for the price of 1.
The other was $10 for your first box.
Of course I chose the first, can’t beat 2 for 1, but the code didn’t work. On the review board several people complained about it, including me, but no word back from the company. Well that changed right after I posted a review stating the latter code of the two worked for me. 5 minutes after posting it Emma and Chloe commented back stating the “better” code should be working now. I commented back asking if I was still eligible due to just signing up moments earlier.. Everyone else got lucky enough to use it so shouldn’t I? Guess not… Caroline from Emma and Chloe emailed me a few days later asking me to go to check out again with the code for the buy one get one free and they’d refund me and cancel the first account out. I was ecstatic you say the least but that lasted for only a moment. I did what she said but the code had already expired the day before. Convenient return email time for them… I contacted her back stating the above and she essentially told me tough luck. THANKS..
I just looked at my bank statement today and got another “tough luck”. The first box was supposed to be free with the promo code that worked for me. Didn’t happen though. I was charged $25. Customer Service is a deal breaker for me when it comes to monthly subscriptions. No, for everything… Why she didn’t give me the deal they offered in the first place is very irritating, especially when I was contacted by the company saying it would work. Then to have the other code not go through correctly is just infuriating. I’m done.
Just an fyi for others who are thinking about joining.. Each piece states a value of much higher value than it truly is. I got the silver earrings and it shows they are worth $113…. Hmm…. $113 huh? They aren’t even sterling silver. It’s sterling silver over brass.. I understand the gold not being solid but $113 for sterling silver over brass??? I would still be upset if I’d have only paid shipping for them let alone $25!!!
Another customer gone. Make that 2!! I had planned on setting my mother up a subscription too. thanks for making my decision that much easier.
Would it have hurt this company that much by honoring the promo offered? They put out great deals non stop… Last month they were giving 50% off all monthly subscriptions throughout whichever term you chose. $17.50 every month… And many many others. I can’t be the only person this has happened to. Am I?
Sorry for the novel but I was really looking forward to getting “handmade one of a kind jewelry” from Paris every month. I’m just disappointed.

I love these earrings. The quality is outstanding. Not a $4.99 Kohls earring at all like someone said below. The post is very sturdy and the back secures comfortably and securely. I got gold md red but chose mix it up as my preference. They can be worn everyday and will not tarnish. Looking forward to October.

These were a huge disappointment for me. Very tiny and nondescript! I hate to say it but they look like something I would buy at Kohl’s for $4.99. This is the first big diss I’ve given this sub tho. I wear every bracelet I’ve received, at least one of them every single day!

I’ve been watching this sub for months, and everything I’ve seen looks like it can be bought elsewhere for cheaper, espically since you’re only getting one piece for that price, but it seems like a really neat idea for a sub though

Same for me. When I subscribed I put my prefence for gold and received silver earrings. I returned them and now awaiting my gold earrings.

This is my first box and disappointed by the mix up.

did everybody receive the coral color? I went with silver and was hoping for the blueish color shown in the little magazine, but ended up with coral.

Taren

I asked for gold but received silver with black. I don’t mind it though. The quality is nice. Ive always gotten gold from them before so one slip up isn’t too huge a deal. And I do wear silver sometimes, was just wanting to up my gold game, lol. I need to remember to log in and resubmit preferences though.

Hi Sarah. I received the gold and coral, but was able to swap with someone on the swap boards for the silver and it’s actually more of a forest green color if that helps. Maybe try there.

I got the gold with the forest green enamel–I love them, a perfect little something for fall.

One of the best things about this subscription is that all the jewelry I’ve received is very comfortable to wear all day.

LB

Hmmm. This was my first month and I was disappointed to get studs eventhough I do not have pierced ears and chose clip earrings when I signed up. I assumed it was because they didn’t have these in clip on version but I guess they do. Sounds like there was alot of mix up this month and I need to contact CS….

Those earrings are lovely.

Do we have to select the color every month? I received silver ones, and I’ve been recieving gold so I’m confused.

Aimee

I also received silver after getting a year of gold- I contacted customer service and they are sending a gold pair to swap out. It was a mix up in their end. Maybe the same thing happened with you?

Lia

Same thing happened to me. I selected gold but got silver. They asked me to return it and refunded me
For mailing charges and they sent the gold ones. It hasn’t arrived yet but I appreciate their responsiveness.

Julie

You can select your subscription to be gold, silver or mix it up. You don’t pick each month . I picked when I subscribed.
