FYI - big changes coming from Sugarbash:

Dear Member,

As you have been our faithful travel companion on this amazing journey, we’d love to show you where we’re headed next!

In 2018, we’ll be launching our core business—the Sugarbash App!  We can’t wait to share the details, but for now, they’re under wraps.  Faves & Raves product discovery has always been a feature of the App, and we are excited to debut it!  Popular demand, after our Steve Harvey Show segment, launched us into the product discovery service first. This gave us the opportunity to learn more about what you wanted in this service!

As we finish accessorizing our App launch, here’s what’s happening in Product Discovery:

  • Our last box under the bi-monthly subscription plan will be “In Support of” which ships in October.
  • Because we are switching billing systems we will not be taking any more orders for subscriptions.
  • All billing for our October box will be completed by September 20, 2017.
  • We will offer the “In Support Of” box as a one-time purchase in order to not disappoint those who would want that box.
  • In between services:  We will offer new one-time boxes for purchase.   New warehouse sales, and mystery boxes will be available.
  • Our new quarterly service will start in 2018
  • New pricing will be announced in early 2018
  • All current active subscription members will be grandfathered in at 25% off the new pricing

What you can expect from Sugarbash in 2018

  • Launch of the Sugarbash App!!
  • A New Sugarbash Website
  • A New Quarterly Product Discovery Service
  • Celebrity curated boxes
  • Exclusive designer collaborations
  • Exclusive Brand collaborations
  • A New billing system

As we spend the rest of this year preparing for all these changes, we hope that you continue on this journey with us!   We have many goodies in store for you including a holiday one-time box!

Sincerely,

Sam
Sugarbash Founder

The big takeaway for current subscribers is that the bi-monthly subscription is ending with the upcoming October box, and a quarterly subscription is launching in 2018.

I think that the changes have been hinted at for awhile. Hopefully we will get choices similar to FFF. Price increases are understandable and to those grandfathered in what an awesome discount while it lasted! 😊

I’m excited about the move to a seasonal box. Sugarbash has been on my wishlist. I wanted another seasonal box. Hope the price isn’t out of my range.

Interesting….. I like this sub, so hopefully the changes will be good.

A switch to a quarterly v. monthly box would naturally come with a higher price tag.

Here’s to hoping: it’s not too steep a hike, the conversion equals more “luxe” products/items offered, SB is able to maintain same great CS & quality we’ve come to expect & appreciate, more diversity & uniqueness in boxes.

Can’t wait till they do their sales!! 😁

I’m bummed, because I was with them from their first box and enjoyed phenomenal Founder’s pricing, which was a flat $25/box (no tax in my state, no additional shipping charge).

On the bright side, I love that Sugarbash still shows it values existing customers by offering us the 25% price break. I’m thinking it will still be a good deal, just not the GREAT deal I had before.

Eager to find out what the new pricing will be and to get some spoilers!

Gina, $25 flat rate was a PHENOMENAL price per box!!

I am excited about the changes. I rather have quarterly box then every other box, just because I am on product overload. Also, I decided to cancel FFF, this box definitely have a great value and product is nice, but there is really nothing that I need. With Sugarbash, I like the discovery. They send may be cheaper items than FFF, but they are more useful and unique. I just hope “grandfathered” price means that we will continue to pay $40 a month.

My guess since they are going to quarterly boxes is a $100 box. They say we all love ” luxe” items in the e-mail. We shall see.

They’ve put together some of the most enjoyable boxes I’ve received in the past couple years so I’m good with a price hike and quarterly scheduled especially if it means more customization and a little more brand diversity (ie. take a break from Pure Cosmetics and Kur). And I’m unreasonably excited for the upcoming owl towel. If that’s the direction they’re going, I’m super excited.

I find Sugarbash’s written communications confusing (what is a quarterly product discovery service? Is that the same as or in addition to the box?) But I have liked past boxes and have high hopes for the future.

I’m with you! When I got the offer for VIP membership I couldn’t figure out what to do or when my box would me mailed and with this one I had to email and ask whether I needed to buy this “in support of” box on my own or whether as a member I would be automatically charged and received it. Customer service got back to me in three minutes if not faster to answer though and with service like that I can’t see myself leaving anytime soon if they continue to push out unique boxes.

Good question, though! What was their answer?

Donna

This has been my favorite box for quite a while. I think Sugarbash is growing and gaining popularity because it’s been such a great box with fantastic customer service. I think they’re putting a lot of thought and effort into making it bigger and better and I hope they are successful in their changes.

Agreed. I think they are planning on jacking up the pricing and all current subscribers are going to lose their pricing and get this fake “25% off new pricing,” which will probably be outrageous. Trying not to will negativity into this, but I have a feeling we are all going to get screwed.

I dont think we are about to be screwed at all. They are definitely going to have a price hike… Probably to $49.99 got a quarterly…. same as FFF. All current members are grandfathered in at thr old price which is 25% off tat new price.. Which is what we are paying now.

That is not what Sam said when I emailed. I am in at the Founder’s price of $25/box. He said no one is retaining old pricing, everyone will be charged the new price, and current subscribers will get 25% off off the new pricing. He said the price is going up across the board for everyone.

Jennifer

But $10 off $50 is 20%, so your math is incorrect. If your theory is correct the price increase will be above $50.

Lisa Marie

That’s what I was thinking we keep current price. If not I hope they give us time to cancel. I’ve being loving all the boxes lately

Wendy

Sounds like a big price hike is coming….
