I am not sure if this little introduction card was included because this was my first box or if it's included every time, but it provides really interesting information on "Hygge" and the goals of this box.

This subscription box includes a list of products found in your box! I love having this information so much, seriously.

Luxury Salted Caramel & Chocolate Chip Cookies, 5.29 oz. - Value $1.69 (Buy a 12 pack for $20.27, or 14.99 GBP here. Does not ship to US)

I am one of those people who really loves simple treats like shortbread. These delicious and buttery shortbread biscuits (or cookies for those of us in the US) are so, so good! The caramel bits are actually just crunchy and sweet and a delightful complement to the little chocolate chips. I had some of these with my coffee, and it was the perfect treat.

It looks like this item is only available in the UK, and I could only find UK wholesale prices to use to reference value. (Also note that the exact US cost could change as the value of the dollar goes up and down.) It's possible they're worth a bit more after you consider shipping to the US!

Calming Hydration Tea Tree Mask - Value $3.00 (Buy a 5 count pack for $15.00 at Target)

In my opinion, tea tree oil can be a bit strong, but in this mask, it wasn't too bad. It did what it was supposed to do, which was to add a nice calming aroma. The mask was cooling and tingly. Afterward, my skin looked and felt refreshed. Really nice!

M. of W.G. Woodsmoke Candle - Value $12.00?

I am obsessed with candles and my favorite scents are usually woodsy, spicy, manly, or musky. In other words, this smoky, woodsy candle is perfection! I can't wait for a chilly evening so I can cuddle up and light this candle.

I guessed at the price of this candle based on similar candles I've seen.

Higher Living Organic Sweet Chai, 3 packets - Value $2.91?

In a battle of tea vs. coffee, for me, coffee always wins. I have never really been a tea drinker because I don't really like that herbal flavor that seems to be in most teas. I have tried chai before so I do know it has more of a spicy, warm flavor rather than herbal. With this one, in particular, it is both of those, as well as, sweet. I liked it!

This particular flavor of Higher Living Organic tea is hard to find online (especially for US customers). I linked to another flavor that is available to give an idea of value. Note that UK shipping costs might be responsible for making this a more expensive tea.

99% Fresh Cozy Warmers Socks - Value $9.99?

I so badly wish that it was cold outside so I could wear these incredibly cozy socks! They are super tall, crazy thick, and incredibly soft. On the bottom of the socks, there is a rubbery material so that you don't slip around on non-carpeted floors. Not only are the soles non-slip, but on one sole it says "Sleepy" and on the other "Head". Adorable! Can't wait to wear these with leggings and a huge sweater.

I couldn't find this item online, so I guessed at the value based on similar products I've seen.

The Verdict: I absolutely adore this box! If there was ever a box that fully encompassed my life goals, this is it. I love fall because you can get cozy at home and just feel happy. With everything in this box, I am sure to have a delightful fall. The cost of the box is $28.00 plus shipping. The estimated value of each item brings the value to around $30.00. For me, shipping was about $10.00, the price is a bit steep for what I received. If I didn't love it so much, I would probably not be happy about this box, but alas, I did love it!

With $10 shipping I need a promo code. Wish they were significantly cheaper the longer the subscription or they would include free shipping w longer sub.

I found the socks! Francesca’s is offering them in a variety of phrases for $18 (not $10 like the review listed, I wish it was though!) plus shipping which another $5-$8.

Where can I get those socks?

Found the socks at Francesca’s for $18. I thought $10 was a pretty low quote, I wonder what the reviewer was using as a comparison.

I was wondering the same thing! I have been searching and have had no luck…

This box should be $25 shipped, tops. The contents are cute and cozy for sure, but really a candle, pair of socks, and some cookies you could find cute and cozy for virtually no effort. I pay for curated boxes to get unique finds without having to browse stores endlessly.

I was thinking more like $20 shipped. I would not be happy paying $38 for these few inexpensive things.

This is theft. Come on now.

Love the idea for this box. I hope they can get higher value items in there, and some cuter things (couldn’t they find something a little more scandinavian?) And three tea bags is a weird number. Anyway, hope they improve! 😀

Nor to burst anyone’s bubble but I was at tj maxx yesterday and literally saw pretty much all of these exact things. Brands and all. $10 shipping is crazy for things you could grab at your local maxx or marshalls for probably cheaper than listed. That candle brand is typically 6.99-9.99 depending on size. Love the socks though.
