JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes)

Over Labor Day weekend, JustFab offered a VIP-exclusive 50% off sale (how convenient since you have to place an order by the 5th of each month)! What a great chance to try more than one style. But one downside is my order took almost an extra week to ship out due to demand. This is definitely not the norm, though.
I also received a $30 gift card for Blue Apron. Check out all of our Blue Apron reviews to learn more about this meal delivery kit and to get three free meals with your first box!
Leopard Print Cardigan, size S - VIP Price: $44.95 (retail price: $64.95. 50% off price I paid: $22.47)
While perusing the sweaters category, I was oddly drawn to this leopard print cardigan. It's 100% acrylic and animal print - two things I typically steer clear from. However, I'm pleasantly surprised with the overall quality. The cardigan fits true to size and hits mid-thigh. It was the perfect choice to pair with the romper I received this month from Wantable, since I was looking for a little more coverage for my legs.
It's a pretty standard knit but creates an imperfect (almost digital) leopard print pattern, which I like. I live in cardigans throughout the fall and winter, and although this isn't the warmest I own, I will get a lot of use out of it. Especially because I normally wear solid tops and bottoms, so the statement print is welcomed!
Mesh Midi Skirt, size S - VIP Price: $29.95 (retail price $44.95. 50% off price I paid: $14.98)
I am so happy I ordered this skirt! It was my first pick, but was unsure about the overall quality. There are two layers of nylon tulle that lay over polyester lining that is cut a little bit shorter and hits right above the knee (I'm 5'4" for reference). And all the layers are sewn to a soft but sturdy elastic waistband. It's not the best-constructed piece of clothing I own, but for $29.95, the quality is right on the money!
I really like that this skirt is screaming femininity but not over the top tutu ballerina. It comes in black or pink (which is quite sweet) and I'll be able to style this skirt in a variety of ways. It's trendy in material but classic in style.
Starling Flat, size 8.5 - VIP Price $32.95 (retail price: $49.95. 50% off price I paid: $16.47)
What better to pair with a tulle skirt then ballet flats?! I chose solid black velvet, but this style also comes in black with gold stars or leopard print. There's a history of JustFab and ShoeDazzle flats fitting me small, so I opted to size up a half size, and they fit perfect.
There's a ~48" long piece of velvet ribbon attached to the middle of each shoe's inner sole that is a tad uncomfortable on my bare foot. However, with tights, you don't notice the ribbon as much. It's really up to you how to tie the ribbon; I decided to criss-cross similar traditional ballet slippers and there was plenty of ribbon to do so. I'm impressed by the quality of the actual ribbon but wish it had been constructed to the shoe differently.
For a monochromatic look, I styled the skirt and flats with a cropped turtleneck from my closet. Love!
Verdict: Each month, I am excited to see the new arrivals from JustFab! When I take a step back and look at my choices for September, I'm getting a witchy vibe and I like it! The retail value this month is $159.85, but I paid a VIP price of $53.92 (with free shipping) due to the Labor Day weekend VIP sale. Without the sale, I would have paid about $108, which averages to about $36 an item and a pretty good deal compared to quality.
I continue to feel the same about JustFab: Compared to other clothing boxes like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, I am finding that despite the higher upfront out-of-pocket expense, I prefer to choose my items each month and find there's less risk with this subscription model.
