Kira Kira Crate always comes with a booklet that describes each item and how to use it which is super helpful since some of the items don't have English directions.
Pure Smile Cherry Blossom Sheet Mask - Value $1.50
Kira Kira's evergreen product, Pure Smile, always makes an appearance in each box. This month it comes in the form of cherry blossom. I've never used a cherry blossom sheet mask before, so this one will be my first. Like most masks, this one was oozing with essence, so once I took it off, I had to do some blotting with a cloth to get rid of excess (even though it encourages you to just rub it in). My face is insanely soft and the mask seemed to have a faint floral scent, which was nice.
Ohyama Medicated Bath Powder - Value $1.96
The booklet didn't have much info on the specific bath powder I received, nor did their blog, but I was able to find some info on the brand's site. This one is helpful for acne and rough skin. The powder is a bright blue, then turns bright green when it hits the water. Once mixed in, you'll notice some chunkier salts that don't dissolve, as well as a really moisturizing oil that makes your skin super soft. The scent is hard to place, but I'm going to say it's in the floral yet almost a bit spicy/minty family.
Nonkuma Hello Kitty Under Eye Mask - Value $9.28
Here we have the first of two items this month that are Hello Kitty branded. I recently was told that Hello Kitty is not a cat but in fact a human girl. Did you know that? You can tell by the way she stands upright. Anyhow, I guess that makes more sense of why she'd be combating "panda eyes" with these under eye masks. I received a pack of 4 sets that are reusable, so I should be able to get some wear out of them! I haven't been getting much sleep lately so I can use these big time to help with the dark under eye circles the lack of sleep has left me with. I put them on and there is nothing inherently medical or herbal about them. They just seem like cute cloth stickers.
Speaking of not sleeping, do you want to see a before/after of my under eye circles? Have young children look away, please.
I keep staring at this, trying to decide if there is a difference. The top is "before" and the bottom is after one 20 minute use of the eye masks. What do you all think? Maybe I need a few more rounds.
Hello Kitty Sara Sara Wipes - Value $?
And now for the second Hello Kitty item! I thought these were simply face cleaning wipes, but upon reading the booklet, I learned that they are "Sara Sara" (which means "smooth" in Japanese) wipes that help you stay fresh and clean when the weather makes you sticky. I wish these would have come in a summer box because I am always all swampy and gross June-August. Let's be honest, I am always sweaty and gross, so I can use them any time of year. The wipes themselves smell sort of like hand sanitizer but have a lingering cooling feeling on the skin. It's actually sort of eerie! I just wiped it across my hands, arms, and around my neck and I'm legit chilly! I bet these would be great after a long hike!
BW Darling Tint Gradation Palette - Value $?
This is a cute little dual palette for lips and cheeks! I currently use a powder blush but am interested in jumping into the world of cream blush. It's a bit scary because I don't want to overdo it, but as I was dabbing the red hue onto my cheeks, it was easy to blend outwards and build on if needed. The lip gloss is very subtle and also buildable. It has a nice glossy finish and feels really moisturizing on my lips.

Shiseido Ferzea Quick Hand Moisture Mist in Citrus Shower - Value $8.63
Whoa, I'm very surprised to see a Shiseido item in here since it's a higher end brand (to my knowledge). Maybe they have a more broad price point in Japan? This item is sort of similar to the Sara Sara wipes in that its aim is to keep you refreshed as well as moisturized. The bottle is 1 fluid ounce, so it's perfect to keep in your bag. I sprayed two pumps onto my hands and even though the scent is "citrus shower" there seemed to be more of an overall subtle fresh scent to it. The texture it leaves is hard to describe. I had to make Anna try it out too to help me find the words, and the best we came up with was "squeaky". I recall having a similar feeling after using baby powder if you know what I mean. After it soaks in a bit, it does feel moisturizing though.
Verdict: Kira Kira was packed full of moisture this month! I really liked this one compared to the last. I was happy to receive some Hello Kitty items that weren't products I had used before, and get a very useable makeup palette for my cheeks and lips. Overall, everything left me feeling soft and fresh, which is a plus with colder weather looming. Per usual, not everything was easily found online, but after tallying up the ones I could find, it came to around $21 which makes the Hello Kitty Sara Sara Wipes and Darling Tint Gradation Palette each worth $4 to hit the $29 cost of this box. That seems totally reasonable to me!
