Le Tote is a month-to-month clothing rental subscription. When you sign up, you complete a detailed profile of your sizing and style, you browse their catalog of clothing and accessories and create your “closet,” from which they select items to send to you. Le Tote will email you before your box ships, where you have 48 hours to ‘swap’ any items in your bag. You keep the clothing to wear as long as you like, and you can also send back your box in the pre-paid envelope for a new selection of items as frequently as you like. If you love something enough to want to purchase it, you can simply hold onto it when you send the rest of that box back, and you’ll get that item for the low Le Tote price. Also, if you keep everything from your box, the next month box you receive is free!
FYI – the items in my Le Tote boxes are selected for me based off of my preferences and style profile, so your boxes may look completely different!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Just like last month, I received this beautifully customized pamphlet that shows each of the items I received, their name, and the cost of each. There is also an area that goes over the 'renting' process and that you can get your next month's box for free if you keep everything from your current package! One thing to note that I found very helpful was that I need to send anything back that I don't want to purchase by September 13th. You need to get your items back in the mail in order to get your next box, so always a good reminder!
Making a return can always be a hassle, but they make it super easy by providing you with a pre-paid return envelope! All you have to do is package up what you want to return and send it off.
Let’s see what products I got this month!
Beaded Wrap Bracelet by Camilla - retail: $22, Le Tote price: $13
The first item I received was this beaded wrap bracelet. I am not a big bracelet person unless it is something very delicate. This one was very pretty but had a bit too much flash for me. I most likely won't be keeping this item, but it was fun to try on with a few different outfits to see if I wanted to keep it!
Triple Circle Pendant by Ava - retail: $28, Le Tote price: $18
This drop pendant necklace is made with gold mixed metal and a pearl center. I love that you can change the length with the extender and lobster clasp. The design is minimal enough to wear with a lot of different looks, but still is a bit of a statement piece. I really wish I was more of a jewelry person, but this was another item that I just don't think I will get a lot of use out of even though I think it is really pretty!
Tropical Print Bomber by Philosophy - retail: $88, Le Tote price: $54
OMG, I love this bomber. Now that bombers are back in style, I have bought a few different styles, but this one is perfect for the transition into Fall. The material is more lightweight so you could wear it on its own or with a tee and jeans. I love pairing bold patterns like this with a black dress and boots for the Fall. This might be my latest obsession piece!
Printed Wrap Skirt by Octavia - retail: $70, Le Tote price: $23 on sale
I really wanted to like this skirt, but I think it might not be flattering for my body. While it is 100% polyester, the fabric is very soft and almost feels similar to silk. I have never worn a wrap skirt, but I really loved the ease and comfort of not having a clasp or zipper. Now that it is getting a bit cooler outside, I might try pairing this with a tighter turtleneck before making my final decision on sending back or not because I really do love the overall feel and pattern of this skirt!
Medallion Lace Dress by Olivia Culpo x Le Tote - retail: $148, Le Tote price: $78
The quality of this dress was absolutely stunning! The lace overlay was thick and sturdy with a light slip for underneath. The button details at the neck provided that extra touch of pretty. While I thought that dress needed to be tailored a bit, I thought that the overall fit was true to size. I so wish I had an event coming up to justify keeping this dress because I would love to dress it up with a little sash or belt and different shoes. If you have an upcoming event or bridal shower, then you need this dress, it will not disappoint!
Verdict: The weather here in Pittsburgh is still in a bit of a transition as we are saying bye to summer and hello to fall, which can always be a tricky time of year to figure out what to wear. Some of the items from this month felt a bit too summery for me to justify keeping like the white lace dress, where as other items were just not my style like the jewelry pieces. I am going to be keeping that bomber jacket though so that is a huge score in my book! I did use the swap option this month for two items, but I think I am going to not check my order for next month so that I can be completely surprised. That will allow the Le Tote stylists to do their thing as well! The monthly fee for this box did increase from $39 to $59 a month, but with the ease of the free return shipping label they provide, I totally see the value in this subscription. You also can get the Le Tote price for each product if you decide to keep anything that you received. If you factor all of that in, you really are saving, which makes the $59 worth it! While I didn't absolutely love everything from this month's box, I am really looking forward to seeing what I get next from Le Tote!
