The box’s theme for August 2017 is Kitchen. I appreciate that they listed details for all of the items.
Creative Co-Op Fresh Fig Dish Soap - 16 fl.oz. Listed Value $12
***Subscribers will receive one of the multiple fragrance variations***
This is a great size dish soap. The bottle is cute - and the scent is good enough for me to use in the shower! I like that the formula is biodegradable. It lathered well and left my dishes squeaky clean, but I wouldn’t say that my hands feel moisturized afterwards as they claim.
Creative Co-Op Hand-Painted Stoneware Spoon Rest- Listed Value $8
This unconventionally shaped dish measures 5-½” and it has a good weight to it. It’s also microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. I do like the light blue rim but I’m not a 100% sure I love the pattern. Overall, it’s a cute little plate that I will be using to rest my ladle when I cook.
Cotton Tea/Dish Towel - Listed Value $4 each
These tea/dish towel are 100% cotton, lint free, and made in Pakistan. They measure 15” x 24-½” and have a very simple blue line in the middle. The fabric became much softer after the first wash and they will come in handy in my tiny kitchen. 🙂
Vegetable Brush - Listed Value $7
I have to admit that I’m not much of a vegetable eater - so I don’t think that I’ll be using this brush for its purpose anytime soon. That said, the bristles are just stiff enough to clean root vegetables easily, yet soft enough to leave the veggie unscratched. In my case - I will be using this brush for my bath time to scrub my rough elbows and heels!
Creative Co-Op Oval Ceramic Plate - Listed Value $7
This little plate is adorable! The plate is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. It measures 5-¼” long and 4” wide. It has a drawing of a little bird with the word “merci” (which means “thank you” in French) inside. I love the simplicity of this plate and I will keep it around my desk for my afternoon snack break.
Verdict: The listed value of this box is $42, which is a little over the cost of the box. I like that everything is very well-curated under the theme and I can see myself using these items in my kitchen. My favorite item is definitely the oval ceramic plate, it makes me happy just looking at the little bird!
