Bee’s Wrap-Single Large Wrap - Value $7.20 (buy a set of 3 for $18.99 on Mighty Nest)
This large 13”x14” reusable wrap is made of beeswax, organic cloth, tree resin, and organic jojoba oil. An environmentally friendly alternative to plastic wrap. The large wrap can seal my fruits, vegetables, cheese, bread, or a large bowl. Mighty Nest shop sells the bee’s wrap in a set of three and on the Bee’s Wax site they are sold separately.
Bee’s Wrap-Single Medium Wrap - Value $6.60 (buy a set of 3 for $17.99 on Mighty Nest)
This medium 10”x11” reusable wrap is made of beeswax, organic cloth, tree resin, and organic jojoba oil. It’s suggested for wrapping cheese, herbs, or to cover a bowl.
Here I covered a medium bowl. The bee’s wrap was a bit stiff. I had to warm the wrap with my hands so it would adhere securely to the bowl.
Here I wrapped the bowl with the medium bee’s wrap. I hugged the wrap to the bowl, upon further investigation it’s best to pinch the edges of the bowl with your fingers and the warmth of your fingers will give it a better seal. An informational video on the product.
The bee’s wrap is to be washed in cool water with mild dish soap and hang to dry. The bee’s wrap is reusable for up to a year. It's not intended for wrapping meat, keep away from heat, and don’t use for cutting.
Verdict: This was a useful Mighty Fix and the value of the two single bee’s wraps is $13.80, from the Bee’s Wrap site. This is a few dollars above the cost of the $10.00 subscription and a good deal, especially with theMIGHTY7 coupon. The bee's wraps are purposeful for my everyday kitchen needs. It took getting used to but I found it easy to wrap my dishes and food items. I would have never thought of using beeswax for storage wrap, what a clever idea.
