Koozie Six-Pack Holder - Update: Value $10.50 (Bulk pricing here)
From what I've been able to find online, I think this Koozie is the kind of thing you can get your own logo printed onto in mass quantities. This one is obviously still blank. I'm actually surprised by how nice this promotional item is—the material feels like a sturdy scuba fabric and there's a handy pocket on the front to drop a bottle opener or other odds and ends. I could see using this to bring beers to a friend's football game watch party or to a fall picnic in the park.
TekNMotion Headphone Splitter - Value $4.99
It's been awhile since I've needed a headphone splitter, but they can be a lot of fun on plane trips or long car rides where you're trying to watch a movie or listen to a podcast with your seatmate. In addition to providing two headphone jacks, this little tool also touts itself as being a device stand—stick its suction cup end into the back of your phone, and let the Y-shaped little green man keep your device standing at a comfortable angle.
Kikkerland Message Balloons - Value $8.90
I've noticed a few Kikkerland products across the Monthly Mystery Boxes this month! (Check out the mug in the regular sized box.) They always have plenty of quirk to them, so they seem fitting inside this subscription. This box helps you make party balloons decorated with ransom-note-style letter stickers.
I like the colorful stickers, but I'm a little creeped out by the ransom-note vibe of the finished product, hehe. The white balloons are a little odd, too. (I wish they were a more festive shade!) That said, these could be really fun to decorate a murder mystery party or something like that!
Verdict: This month's Mini Mystery Box by Jamminbutter was only worth about $14.00, but hey, the subscription itself is only $9.99 a month! Value Update: About $24. These items were all, as usual, super random, but at least two were somewhat practical items. The balloons aren't really my speed, but I could see keeping the Koozie and the splitter in the closet for that one moment in a blue moon when they'll really come in handy. It's not a wow from me, but it's a better assortment than I might've expected!
