Gerrits Sour Blockheads, 1.23 oz - Value $3.00
When I ate one of these I literally could not stop making "mmmm" sounds! I am not trying to be cute either, I am being serious. These are super chewy, sour, and sweet. As I am writing this, in fact, I am eating this entire bag. Yep, that good!
Dorito's Pizzerolas, 2.05 oz - Value $4.00
As the name suggests, these are pizza flavored Doritos. I mean, I have always enjoyed pizza flavored snacks and to be honest, this is no different. These were really good and definitely gave me that pizza taste. I have never had a Dorito flavor I don't like.
Yaokin Moguchuu Cola Flavor, 0.95 oz. - Value $2.00
Even though this says that the flavor is cola, I got more of a lemon flavor. I have noticed that a lot of "cola" flavored candies actually do taste more citrus than cola, but maybe that's me. OR, maybe it's that cola has more of a lemon flavor than I thought. Now that's interesting.
Hanuta Hazelnut Wafers, 1.55 oz - Value $1.99?
It seems like in many other countries, wafers are a treat that everyone loves. Have I just not noticed this here in America or is it, in fact, more popular in Europe? Anyway, these were exceptionally good, really crunchy and sweet.
Zombie Survival Can Energy Drink, 8.4 fl oz - Value $5.00
I have never liked energy drinks, in fact, I think I have only ever tried one and I hated it. This one isn't quite as potent or sugary tasting, but it's just okay. The flavor tastes a little like raspberry or maybe it's just berry in general.
Cheetos Palomitas, 1.02 oz - Value $2.00? (Price based on guess)
I wanted to like these because I really love popcorn, but the flavor was off for me. I think they are supposed to taste like "movie theater" popcorn, but it didn't. The taste was just really strong, cheesy, and fake.
Skawa Orange Yogurt Dragees, 2.47 oz. - Value $2.00
Orange isn't my favorite flavor, but these weren't too bad. I think my general issue with most foods is smell and texture. With this particular candy(?) it was more the texture which was that of a hard candy shell with a creamy filling. Not my fave.
Jacquet Belgian Waffle, 0.88 oz - Value $1.99? (Price based on similar product)
I wish I would have warmed this up instead of eating it cold, but even still it was really good. I am sort of glad that I didn't though because now I know I could go ahead and throw one of these in my bag and eat it at any time. This would be particularly good with coffee!
Ten Jang BBQ Prepared Fish, 1.48 oz - Value $3.00
Phew, okay guys, to be honest, I couldn't even bring myself to try these. As soon as I opened the bag I was slapped in the face with the pungent aroma of what smelled like fish food. Ya know when you open a container of fish food and it has that super distinct smell? Well, this is the same thing. Not great, friends.
Mieszko Zozole Apple, Cherry, & Strawberry, 2.82 oz - Value $2.00
These hard candies were really tasty! I enjoy a nice hard candy every once in a while as I am a grandma and like to have them in my purse in case my sweet tooth starts jonesing for something good.
Mommy's Palms Waffles Dulce de Leche Flavor, 7.93 oz. - Value $5.00? (Price based on guess)
These were good, but I feel the same way about these as I do about the wafer cookies. They are okay, but not something I want all the time or even regularly. These were good, tasted like dulce de leche.
Pigui Slaps Green Apple, 3.33 oz. - Value $2.00
This was sort of weird for me. I think that maybe I didn't get these in terms of maybe how you are supposed to eat them. They are these super flat"lollipops" but even when I tried to pull off the plastic holding them together, they stuck to the plastic so I couldn't even really eat it like a lollipop. It really is more of a melted lollipop with a stick. Strange. Also, I didn't think the flavor tasted like green apple.
Verdict: Generally, I liked this box, most of the items were really good. My favorite snack was definitely the Blockhead candy and my least favorite was the BBQ fish sticks. The cost of the box is $22.95 while the value of the box exceeds that coming in at $33.98. I think that's an okay deal, but not anything too impressive.
