I’m definitely a newbie. Would someone point me in the direction of the link please? I’ve been subscribing to boxycharm for about 4 months but didn’t receive the email. Thanks!

If you were on the waitlist and decided to subscribe again just to get off of it, check your account. I wanted to get off the waitlist so I signed up again and I went into my account and just discovered 2 subscriptions (cancelled 1).

Lol..me too…2 charges as well

Did you just get charged the one time? It seems like I did but keeping an eye on it!

Heather
Nope charged twice 🙁
Kim
Thank You! I was on the waitlist as well I logged and it did not show I was an active customer so I added a subscription to my cart and checked out. It appears I am now active and will get this months box. Thanks for the heads up.

I signed up last month but was on the waitlist. My account never showed waitlisted (just 0 subscriptions) and my card hasn’t been charged. I’m not risking it – I just subscribed now! Worst case, I’ll have to sort something out if they attempt to charge twice. But based on what others have said it sounds like they’ll just ignore my waitlist spot when they see I’m already active.
Either way – at least I know September is likely to happen for me!

I did the same but was charged twice! I emailed them to get them to take off the second charge but haven’t heard back yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, this happened to me. My account now shows two subscriptions and I’ve been charged twice, despite Boxycharm’s insistence that they only allow one sub per account. I’ve emailed them and I’m sure it’ll get straightened out, so I’m not worried. I’m so excited to be off the waitlist!!!
Jenna
I did the same, then got an email last night saying I was off the waitlist. I checked my credit card and it seems I’ve only been charged once, but my account says two subscriptions so I’m not sure what’s going on.

They only allow one subscription per account, so you are good. You won’t end up two subs

You crazy boxycharm fan girls finally rubbed off on me ;] lol. I had such gut-wrenching FOMO about missing the August box, I knew I’d kick myself for missing this PUR palette. I’m an eyeshadow virgin, and the swatches are perfect for my first palette! I’m so excited that I held my horses. Liz let us know that they oftentimes lift the waitlist the first few days of the month, and sure enough, whoop! there it went! I almost caved when the first few spoilers came out. I may even pop my swapping cherry if I get the BM foundation brush! Let me know if you want it. I’m a stippling brush girl for life xoxo

I cancelled all my monthly boxes so I can donate to Houston. I hope you all love Boxycharm as much as I do. I will be back. Best wishes everyone.

I guess I’m a bit confused with this post. It’s now September 1st. So, will our first box be August as stated in the post or will we receive September as our first box?

Sorry about that, I’ve updated the post! If you sign up now, your first box will be September.

What if you signed up a couple of weeks ago and were placed on the waitlist? Will I be getting off of it and getting septembers box?
Kaleigh
The post was just changed to say our first box will be September. I think it was just a typo.

I don’t understand why they are opening the waitlist when they have yet to fulfill all of the orders for August. There are still a lot of people waiting for their August box and it’s September now.

I signed up and was charged August 5th and I checked credit card statement said I was charged $33.76 I still have not recieved my first month or even a shipping email confirmation. Meaning they still have not shipped it yet, it’s been almost 31 days. I cancelled before they could charge me for September, as I don’t know when and if I’ll ever get the box, and just want my money back as I feel scammed and super dissapointed. I’ve mailed last Friday heard back on Sunday saying someone would be in touch soon, still nothing 5 business days later! They say if you email more than once they will put you at the bottom. I’m this close to going to my bank and reporting them to the better business bureau. I do not recommend signing up to this company. I have had top box and ipsy and never dealt with such poor customer service and been charge yet don’t know if and when I’ll ever get the product! I wish Boxy charm would just please refund me since you won’t respond to my email and won’t mail out the box I ordered a month ago! ridiculous!

i signed up last month when there was no waitlist as i really wanted the August box…….immediately after, i got an email stating i was on the waitlist……..

That’s because they’ve had an active waiting list for I believe two months now? All new subscribers during August were immediately placed on the waitlist

Danielle
Not true, I subscribed in August and didn’t get waitlisted. I got the August box a few weeks ago.
Margot
I signed up a few weeks ago and was put on the waitlist. Will it automatically take me off the waitlist and start my subscription? Or is there something I need to do? I really want to get the September box!

I just went back into my account and added a box. I was instantly taken off the waitlist and charged for a box.

If you look at your credit card it probably already charged you so you will get septembers box. I was waitlisted after reactivating my account and i was charged today.

Margot
I looked and it hasn’t charged my credit card. I logged into my boxycharm account and it says that I don’t have any subscriptions. I don’t want to sign up again and get charged twice
findley
i reactivated my account last week. i just logged in and checked my status and it said cancelled as opposed to “waitlisted”. so i signed up again?
i know you can only get one box so i’m not really concerned about getting double billed but i just thought it was weird.
so you might wanna check to see that you’re actually active or waitlisted

Findley – You are right. I didn’t realize you can only have one Boxycharm account per email address so I looked at my old account that I had previously cancelled, and it still said cancelled, not waitlisted or active, even though I reactivated my account a few weeks ago and was waitlisted then. So I just went into my account again and hit “Join Now” at the top of the page and rejoined, and I was immediately changed on my account page from cancelled to active. I think that’s the surest way to get back to active from waitlisted. Thanks!

Also, I cannot seem to find a customer service email or link or phone number on their website. Does anyone know how to reach them?

Google Boxycharm customer service and a link will come up.

I subscribed a couple days ago and was waitlisted. No email yet saying that I’m off the list. If I had known, I would have waited a couple of days…
I’ll be so pissed if they keep us waitlisted while accepting new subscribers

Go back in and resubscribe. I was waitlisted last week but hadn’t been removed from the waitlist as of this morning, so I went back in and added the subscription to my cart and checked out with all the same info as before, and now I’ve been billed and am listed as having an active account.
I wish they would make sure everyone is removed from the waitlist before allowing new people. I decided to be proactive and get my subscription for sure, rather than hoping they get around to removing me from the list.

If they charge you on or after September 1st, then your first box is September. When I was in the waitlist in May, they charged me on June 2nd and my first box was June. When they lift the waitlist you are automatically off it and are charged. Make sure your payment info is correct on your account and that there are funds as if it bounces then you are put back on the waitlist. Even current subscribers find this out the hard way.

Shelby
That was my question – does that mean all the waitlisters are in?

Barb
Wouldn’t your first box be the September box if subscribing today?

The first box will be August? If you are already on the waitlist, will you be off it now?

I think that’s a typo because it goes on to say to look at the September spoilers.
