Baby Buddy Natural Bath Sponge - Value $5.99
This natural yellow sea sponge is the perfect size for bathing baby. I tested it with the next product in this review's line-up and found it to be incredibly absorbent and gentle on skin. According to my quick research, natural sponges are apparently more resistant to bacteria than synthetic sponges. They are also all natural, recyclable and renewable. I can't wait to use this sponge during our baby's first bath for easy rinsing.
The Ritual of Sakura Shower Foam, 6.7 oz. - Value $15.00
I used this shower foam right alongside the natural sponge -- perfect duo! This gentle cleansing foam has a soft and floral cherry blossom scent that I really enjoyed. Its lather is super rich and luxurious. I could tell based on the sleek packaging alone that this is definitely an 'adult' product. I'm assuming that Noobie Nest included this item as a way for new moms to pamper themselves during those first few months of navigating motherhood, and I couldn't appreciate that more! Unlike the very versatile sponge, however, I wouldn't use this on baby.
Pehr Designs Paper Airplanes Swaddle - Value $20.00 (currently unavailable online)
This generously-sized swaddle blanket measures in at 47"x47". It's made from a soft 100% muslin cotton, so I know that it will wear well and last a long time. I haven't washed it yet, but I've heard that muslin tends to become softer with use and each wash cycle. I am in love with the adorable paper airplanes print too! It isn't too over-the-top (ultra cutesy it's my thing) and adds just enough muted color to an otherwise crisply classic white swaddle.
JoJo Maman Bébé Born in 2017 Bunny - Value $5.00
So cute! I love that this bunny commemorates our baby's birth year, and I know that it will be a cherished keepsake for years to come for that reason. It's also the perfect size at around 4" inches tall. Super soft too!
Carter's 'Out of This World' Outfit Pack - Value $15.60? (based on similar styles)
This adorable clothing set from Carter's comes with a long-sleeved onesie, hat, short-sleeved onesie, and footed pants. Each piece features an alien/space theme. My husband is a scientist, and we're both both nerds when it comes to the extraterrestrial, so I have a feeling that our son might take after that interest. 🙂 I like that the hat can be worn with either outfit, and you can add the pants or leave the onesie as-is depending on the temperature. All pieces are in a 3-month-old size. Carter's also includes a coupon for 20% off.
Sophie la Girafe Teether - Value $10.00 (based on similar style)
This teether is very lightweight, and the textured ring makes it easy to grab hold of. It's also made from a really malleable material which I believe is natural rubber after looking into similar styles from the same Sophie brand. I love how classy this teether looks too!
Verdict: I was really impressed with Noobie Nest from Noobie Box. I had previously received the free pregnancy box and, while I enjoyed that too, it wound up being really heavy on coupons and samples. This box is entirely different with it's full-sized, quality products, so I suppose you do get what you pay for. At $71.59, the value definitely outshines the $31.90 total box cost as well.
