This box comes with a folded card detailing the items included.
I love that the info card is illustrated and has the cute copy "Why it's rad"!
The back has a note from Katherine Martinez, Nylon's Director of E-Commerce, with a short synopsis of the items from this month's box.
Nylon x Valfré StickerApp Stickers - Value $
Nylon box always includes some cute stickers, and this time they are by artist Valfré.
The super cute feminine illustrations feature things like a rose, a tube of lipstick, a Nylon cover, and a cat, among others! Def worth stickin' all over boring stuff!
Sigma E25 Blending Travel Brush - Value $16
The value they have listed for this brush is for the full size instead of travel, but the only difference seems to be the length of the handle, so it does the same job in my book, just in a more compact version.
I like that they outline how to use it for eyeshadow novices like myself.
This brush actually comes at the perfect time because I just acquired an eyeshadow palette recently to try out, but wasn't sure about the included brush.
The bristles of the brush are white and have a rounded tip for blending evenly.
They've also included a promo code for Nylon Box subscribers to save 25% at their online store.
Punky Pins Rose Pin Set - Value $12.14
Another thing Nylon Box likes to include is a patch, or in this case, a pin. Actually- two pins this time! There are two sides to every rose and here they have both! Wait, is that a saying?
This could easily be a bestie set where you can give one rose away to your better half. So lovely!
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Nosferatu (sample size) - $8
I'm so excited to see my favorite liquid lipstick in the box this month! I am obsessed with Kat Von D's formula and already own quite a few colors. Luckily, I don't have this one, so it's new to my collection.
The Nylon booklet has this value as $20, but there's no way that's right because this is smaller than a full size (which costs that much). After looking at Kat Von D's website, it looks like you can buy sets of two of this size for $19, so I'm going to value this at $8.
This deep dark red color is a wonderful shade now that we are getting into cooler months, and as Katherine mentioned on the back of the booklet, it's time to swap nude lips for a more dramatic tone. I agree!
As always, this liquid lipstick glides on so smoothly and I love applying it! What I didn't notice until I had it on is that it has subtle gold metallic tones to it which really gives it depth. I love it!!
Zoya Nail Lacquer in Tabitha - Value $10
I'm already familiar with Zoya, so I know it's "Big 10 Free" which means it's made without a bunch of gross chemicals that a lot of polishes are made with like formaldehyde, parabens, and lead.
This color, Tabitha, is a really dark rich green color with a bit of shimmer that reminds me a lot of the amazing trees I just saw while camping in Kings Canyon National Park last week. It's a beautiful color for fall that conjures up dark evergreen vibes.
Liz was kind enough to model this polish for me since I just returned from that camping trip where all of my acrylics broke off. 🙁 It looks so great on! Will be even better for late fall/early winter.
Lange Hair Replenish Detangling Conditioning Spray - Value $19
I'm a big fan of using conditioning spray when I get out of the shower to tame any flyaways I have from split ends and the like. The ingredients listed on the front, like aloe chamomile and sage sound wonderful.
This is a full-size bottle at 4.5 oz. which should last a while on my thin, shoulder-length hair.
Once I sprayed it, it smelled sort of like cocoa butter which is delightful to me.
Ogee Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths, 30 count - Value $20
Facial cleansing cloths are my preferred method to take my makeup off, so these are welcomed into my home. I've tried a few brands, but haven't used these before, so I'm curious how they stack up to the one I currently use.
These amazingly are made with 94% certified organic ingredients, too!
I like that this one comes with a plastic seal that you can shut to keep the cloths moist. The brand I currently use doesn't have that and when the sticker seal is opened too many times, it stops being sticky and the cloths start to dry out. I accidentally got some of the Kat Von D lipstick on my arm and tried to wipe it off with a regular dry paper towel which left a stain behind. I decided this was the perfect test for these wipes and one easily took all the pigment off. I consider lipstick the hardest to remove, so I'm impressed.
Verdict: Nylon Box is such an awesome value! I got over $85 of products for only $19.99! Everything was full size except the liquid lipstick, and the cleansing cloths OR the conditioning spray alone pay for the box. What?! So good. Everything I received is super usable and I was glad to see brands I know and love. Only two boxes in and I am already hooked on Nylon.
