Let’s take a look at what’s inside!
BEET’Ums, 3 pieces - Value $3.40 (buy a 30-piece bag for $34.00)
These sport performance chews are chocolate-pomegranate flavored and are actually quite tasty! I find quite a bit of sport-geared food not tasting great, so these are a nice change from what I’m used to. These are meant to help boost energy and keep up your endurance for those long runs, which I need.
Dirty Bird Energy Recover Soap – Value $5.99
This soap is meant to be used after a hard workout; to help recover your aching body and to heal any bumps, bruises, or inflammation. Along with all of these perks, it smells like rosemary and eucalyptus, which are two of my favorite scents. I’m not the biggest fan of bar soaps, so I think I’ll use this sparingly, especially when I’m sore from a workout.
Elete Electrolyte Add-In, 24.6 ml – Value $6.50
This electrolyte add-in doesn’t taste like much and is meant to be added to juice or water before or after a workout. I didn’t know electrolyte add-ins were even a thing, so I was very excited to receive this product! I added to apple juice after a run and it was a great mix compared to my normal sports drink.
Swish4 Energy Shot, 0.42 oz. – Value $1.83 (buy a 6-pack for $10.99)
This energy shot is similar to others I’ve tried but has a minty taste. It left my breath feeling fresh and I was surely energized after drinking. I tend to drink energy shots not only for working out, but for busy workdays as well, so this was a nice addition to the box for me.
Reflective Stick-On Strips, 5 sample strips – Value $2.50? (buy 30 square inches for $14.99)
This is a sample packet of reflective strips for those late night runners and are meant to be put on clothing or any hard plastics. I put a few on my helmet as well for late night bike rides and I’ll surely be seen; the reflective aspect is very bright when hit with light. The adhesive is also extremely sticky, so they’ll be staying put wherever you stick them.
EBOOST Pre-Workout Super Enhancer, 0.42 oz. – Value $1.65 (buy full size, 20 servings container for $32.99)
This pre-workout enhancer smells great and is meant to be added to water before your workout. This enhancer has no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners and has a lower caffeine level, so you won’t crash after your workout. I appreciate the lower caffeine level because most pre-workout enhancers leave me jittery during and after my workout (which I hate!), so I’m happy that this will help with that.
Travel Laundry Pills – Value $2.50
These are pretty cool! They’re laundry pills (8 received in the packet) that are great for camping or any travel and can be used in washing machines or hand washers. This is great for airport travelers since these are in powder form, and are small enough that they’ll take up very little room in your suitcase!
Perfectly Salted Ridges PopChips, 0.8 oz. – Value $1.49
I’ve had PopChips in the past, but this was my first experience with PopChip Ridges. They’re much tastier in my opinion and have a better texture than plain PopChips, which I’m usually not a fan of. I highly recommend these if you’re a salty chip person like myself!
Performance Inspired-Bar, 2.47 oz. – Value $2.50 (buy a box of 12 for $29.99)
I love protein bars; they help keep me going and are a great meal replacement after a workout, or for days I’m quickly trying to leave the house. This bar has 20 grams of protein (which is a lot!) and the cookies and cream taste is actually pretty good compared to similar bars I’ve had.
Maple Pear Quinoa Oatmeal Fruit Squeeze by MunkPack, 4.2 oz. – Value $2.30 (by a pack of 6 for $13.79)
This whole grain fruit squeeze is very healthy and tastes great; the maple and pear flavors really come through making me want more. The consistency is pretty thick like oatmeal, so it’s perfect for breakfast or any mid-day snack.
Medal Mode, Size Small – Value $14.99
I don’t have any running medals, but I think this is a great idea for those who have a medal and want to display it. The quality is quite nice on this product and it wasn’t hard to assemble at all.
Verdict: This was my first experience with RunnerBox and I am really impressed with how many products I received, the variety, and the overall quality. The value received was $45.65, which is almost double the cost paid for the box, $20 + shipping. I would recommend this box to anyone who is looking to broaden his or her workout accessory game.
