A tri-fold booklet was also included and listed this month’s theme as “All In.” All the items in the box were photographed and written up with a description.
‘47 Brand Yankees Hat - Value $21.99
This is a great, classic navy Yankee’s baseball cap. It’s adjustable and has the Yankee logo on the front. I love this simple design and will surely be wearing this a lot.
Tervis Yankee Tumbler - Value $19.99
I’m excited to see a Tervis Tumble in this box. The cup is made from BPA-free double-walled plastic that helps keep cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot. It fits well in my car’s cup holder and a mouthpiece that slides open and shut to help prevent spills. It’s also microwave, freezer, and dishwasher safe (top rack only for the lid) and made in the USA.
Topps Trading Card - Value $2.00?
Every month Sports Crate will be sending a limited edition Topps trading card. This month’s card was of pitcher CC Sabathia.
Unfortunately, the sports figure this month will be shipped separately and isn’t expected to arrive until the end of September.
Verdict: This was the fourth Sports Crate by Loot Crate. I really like both the hat and Tervis tumbler very much. I was so happy that the two bigger ticket items this month weren’t sports crate exclusives which I have found to be of lower quality. They also didn’t have any Sports Crate branding which was nice. However, Sports Crate claims these boxes will have 5-7 items each month. This box (even with the delayed sports figure) will only have a total of four items which I think is disappointing. The value with my estimations comes to about $44.00 which is above the $39.99 cost of the box and isn’t including the sports figure which will come later in September.
