Fresh Wave Odor Removing Packs, 6 pack - Value $9.99
Inside each mesh odor removing pack is a handful of little plastic beads that smell like a blend of citrus and fresh laundry. According to the package, they contain no harsh chemicals, nor harmful ingredients—just plant oils. They don't just cover odors, though—they absorb them. That's particularly good for my workout sneakers (especially after they have to run through the rain and get kind of... grubby...). I might even keep one of these tucked in the corner of my bathroom just to keep it smelling fresh.
Mrs. Jones Soapbox All-Purpose Disinfecting Spray, 16 oz - Value $9.99
I actually got this same exact product in the first-ever Squix box I reviewed! I liked it then, and I'm happy to see it back again! This spray does just as well as any other all-purpose cleaner I've tried, but its gentle citrusy lavender smell leaves my counters smelling fresh (but not in an overpowering, chemical-ridden way). The formula has a pretty grapefruit hue and comes in a pretty, understated bottle. It's completely superficial, I know, but this cleaner just looks a lot less sketchy than some other big brands out there!
Enjoy Every Moment Mug by Floor 9 - Value $16.00
This tall mug, which holds 12 oz of tea, coffee, or in my case, a hearty scooping of piping hot oatmeal, has a cute message impressed into the side and a coral-to-white ombre. I love that it's dishwasher safe, microwavable, and generally sturdy. It has a nice heft to it, and its taller shape makes it the perfect thing to wrap my cold hands around.
FREE GIFT Manna Vogue Double Wall Stainless Steel Bottle, 25 oz - Value $30.00
I love giant water bottles, especially when they have cute patterns like this one! The raspberry drawings on the sides of this stainless steel screw-top bottle really pop against its teal exterior. Screwing the top onto the bottle can be a little noisy (as can carrying this bottle in the same bag as your keys...), but not having to worry about weird chemicals seeping out of plastic and into my water is worth the bit of commotion!
FREE GIFT Mixture Candle - Value $20.00
I've seen this brand of candles pop up in a bunch of boxes lately! They're soy-based and beautifully fragranced (this one smells like a mixture of citrus and creamy vanilla), plus I love the frosted, colorful votive holders they come in. The only downside is I'm not sure what size this candle is (there's no mention of its weight in ounces, nor its burn time). I'll say it's just about 3 inches tall and just under 3 inches wide. It'll look great on my desk or on the corner of my mantle!
Verdict: The information for the Squix Qbox advertised a value of $79.00, but I actually calculated about $86.00 worth of value in this box! Sweet! I like this box for its combination of practical and pretty housewares—I get cleaning products to help me tidy up my home, plus some pieces like the candle and the mug to enjoy once I'm done with my chores. Everything seems like it's of really nice quality, too. The products work great, and I love that they're made with more natural ingredients rather than oodles of chemicals. It's been a nice way for me to keep my cleaning cabinet stocked up!
