I love this sub and holo nails. I have short nails and I love the way holographic polish looks on me. I’m skipping this month because they’re not my favorite colors but I’ll wait for next months!

I would say all but the third pic are tips if not acrylics. But these are photoshopped anyway. The angle of the nails are identical in every picture even when the finger isn’t touching the bottle. Regardless, it looks nice on the natural nails as well.

I’ve gotten polishes from the monthly Holo Hookup about 6 times in the last year. Although I’m not in love with every polish color the quality has been great. Also just wanted to add that I will use these polishes even with short nails.

Those are acrylics. I say this as someone with long natural nails. A quarter of an inch past your fingertips and you feel fierce, like a tiger. Anything longer than that they start to hurt and anything could rip or break them.

I could grow my nails out but after a certain length they become a breaking hazard lol. (I stopped w the too long nails in grade school when one broke too far and bled! Ouch!)
I knew one friend who liked to sharpen hers to long points…I wouldn’t follow her lead though.
After a certain length they have to be fake nails or a little crazy lmao

I had to go measure my nails lol my natural nails are a little over 1/2 inch long. They very rarely break….as in I remember the 2 breaks I’ve had in the last 2 years. I have to file them down, or they’ll get way out of control. I have kids and pets to clean up after too 🙂 I’m a polish addict, but usually don’t buy these boxes, since I never like all of them. Though I’d love to see the box reviewed.

I figure that someone with such perfect nails probably has fake nails, or else have some secret that no one else knows. Sometimes I can get a couple nails somewhat long, but they break before all the others have caught up! So I wear polish with short nails.
