The box includes cards highlighting the month's selections and the vendors/makers behind each item. The cards are bound together into a booklet. This month's theme is " A Lot Cozy, and a Little Spooky."

Now, on to the items!

Ragon House Rustic Pumpkins - Value $22.50 total

These pumpkins have a mache finish with a good weight to them. The larger one is about 8 inches tall, and the shorter one is about 4 inches tall.

To be honest, I'm not much of a fall/Halloween decorator, but these are small and subtle enough to be a perfect start for me.

Jackson Rose Candles Southern Roots Candle in Leaves - Value $10

This candle is 4 oz, and 100% soy wax. The Leaves scent is very fall - think apple cider. We're burning it right now as I write the review, and the scent is faint and subtle.

Primitives by Kathy Crow on Spindle - Value $15

This wooden crow measures about 8 inches high. He's pretty cute, but the rustic style doesn't match my decor at all. (But I think Halloween decor gets a bit of a pass, right?) I'm still thinking I might gift this to my aunt - it fits her rustic farmhouse style perfectly.

(A closer look at the detail.)

Gold Cotton Throw w/ braided Pom Pom Trim by Creative Coop – Value $38

This throw measures 60" X 50" and is 100% cotton.

It's a medium weight throw, and the color is perfect for fall. (The value seems very reasonable, too!)

Verdict: This box has a total retail value of around $85.50 That's pretty fair, given the $54.95 price for the box (plus $10 shipping to most of the US). I think this box is well-curated, and they do a great job matching a theme.

I think my one hesitation with this box is that it seems as though the design styles change from month to month. Sometimes I find the aesthetic to be modern and clean (which I love), other times it is a bit more rustic.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, you have until September 27th.

Coupon – No coupon available at this time.

Value Breakdown: At $64.95 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Pumpkins: $17.09
  • Candle: $7.60
  • Crow: $11.40
  • Throw: $28.87

I purchased the throw in February at a market in Waco, TX. Be very careful when washing and avoid heavy use, as the pompoms can come off the braided tassels. Each pompom has a string that is inserted in each braid that pulls out very easily. (My cat LOVES the disconnected pompoms.)

My apologies for the duplicate posts — I’m having a few “senior moments” today. However, the throw is excellent for those Sunday afternoon naps.
