Enclosed is an info card with the products featured in the box, “My Monthly Memo” a to-do list (that’s on the back of the info card) and their “VIP Memo Markdown” a spotlight on a brand that will be featured with a “Memo” markdown. Poppin Blush Stapler - Value $14.00
This standard size stapler comes in an assortment of colors on the Poppin website. I received the color blush and the stapler has a twenty sheet capacity. The stapler didn’t come with the standard size staples, lucky for me I already own a stapler and the standard size staples. I have a dull grey stapler on my desk and will replace it with this sleek stapler.
Porous Tip Pens, Set of 3 - Value $8.00? (based on a similar pen set)
These 3-pack porous tip pens come in three pastel colors that differ from the set on the website and the ink is black. I can always use more pens. I seem to lose or misplace my pens and can never find a pen in my purse when I need one.
Lady Jayne Cosmetics Bag - Value $7.89
This cosmetics bag measures at 8” x 5.5” with makeup brushes lined up at the bottom and the words “Wake Up & Makeup” on the front and back. The outer shell is 100% cotton (the material feels like vinyl) and the lining is a polyester fiber. I change my makeup bag monthly since I subscribe to Ipsy and I will have to put this cosmetic bag in my monthly rotation.
Kiss My Lips Correction Tape -Value $2.28
This is too cute, the correction tape is in the shape of a lipstick. I twisted the top and the tip appeared and I pressed down on an angle onto the paper to correct my mistakes. I was in need of correction tape. I prefer this over correction fluid. Another clever desk accessory, this box never disappoints.
Shower Steamer - Value $1.45? (buy a set of 20 for $29.00)
This all natural, vegan, non-GMO shower steamer comes in the scent, lemongrass. The website has a set of 20 with a variety of scents. This intends to give me an aromatherapy experience in the shower. The shower steamer can be placed on the shower floor farthest away from the drain and let the steam do all the work, or put it close to your head by placing on your shower caddy and let the water drizzle on it and get the effect that way or place in a bowl of hot water and let the aroma engulf my senses. I opted for putting the shower steamer on my shower caddy and let the water drizzle on it to get an aromatherapy experience. I saw the shower steamer fizzle when water was drizzled on it and I faintly smelled the lemongrass scent. I didn’t get an aromatherapy experience. I opted for the other method and placed the shower steamer on the shower floor farthest away from the drain and nope, didn’t get aromatherapy experience either. What I did experience was the lovely scent of the lemongrass even though the aroma was not strong like I thought it would be. Overall, it was an okay encounter.
Verdict: This box is always a joy to receive and I look forward to the fun, stylish desk accessories for my home office. I received some familiar products and an item that was cleverly made, the correction tape which I was in need of. The items in this month’s box are all items I would purchase myself, so to have it all fit in one box is a treat. This box delivers on its promise to send 4-6 products on a monthly basis and have the items be related to work and on trend. This month's Trendy Memo has a value of $33.62, which is below the $39.99 total cost ($34.99 a month plus $5.00 shipping).
