Cat Claws Club is a bi-monthly subscription box for cats filled with lots of toys, treats, and other surprises. (They just use whatever box will fit the items, so it varies from month to month, but it allows for some unusual item shapes, which can be fun!)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
The Subscription Box: Cat Claws Club
The Cost: $33.90 a box ($24.95 subscription price + $8.95 shipping)
The Products: Lots of cat items, mostly toys, including some exclusive and/or new items.
Good to know: Although PayPal checkout shows as an option for this subscription, you can’t actually pay for the subscription with PayPal. I checked out that way the first time and they contacted me, processed a PayPal refund, and I had to resubscribe with a credit card number.
Ships to: U.S. ($8.95)

Laser Cat Toy – Value $5
This particular item was out of stock pretty much everywhere but I linked to an older listing that still showed a price. This has interchangeable heads so you can change the shape of the RED DOT. My cats don’t really care about the shape. What I like about this: (1) it comes with batteries and (2) it actually produces a really strong light so even Mr. Kitty could see it. Some photos of this in action are below.
Imperial Cat Mister Owl Refillable Cat Toy – Value $4.50
We have a couple of these already. My cats used to not really be into the refillable toys, but lately, they have changed their tune, and this was actually pretty popular. Mostly for licking and rubbing chins on.
M.A.X. Pumpkin 2-in-1 Scratcher Set – Value $25.99 (MSRP $29.99)
Cat Claws Club sends out a lot of scratchers but that’s fine by me because my cats love them. These have a cute Halloween themed picture printed on them and a slightly different shape from normal. My kitties really seemed to enjoy sticking their heads inside the larger one.
Gratuitous cat photo time:
Angus inspects Mister Owl.
Angus chases the red dot.
Madison investigates catnip I put on top the scratcher.
Yeah, this is good stuff!
Monkey investigates the scratcher.
Monkey looks at me like he’s asking why I interrupted.
Sneaky gives me the stink eye.
Not gonna lie, I took about 40 pictures of Mr. Kitty chasing the laser pointer. I am always happy when he does something that shows he can still see a little bit.
Mr. Kitty and Angus check out the scratcher.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $35.49 for the October Cat Claws Club. The MSRP is actually a little higher since the scratcher was on sale. This value exceeds the cost of the subscription plus shipping, which is great. Even though there weren’t very many items this month, I thought the quality of the items was wonderful. The scratchers are sturdy and most of the cats are interested in them, and the laser pointer, though inexpensive, is actually quite good. And the refillable cat toys from Imperial Cat are always well made. Plus, honestly, I’m just happy anytime Mr. Kitty gets interested in a toy from a box.
