The Cloth & Paper Stationery Subscription Box is a monthly stationery subscription box from lifestyle and stationery shop, Cloth & Paper.

In addition to the Stationery Subscription Box, Cloth & Paper offers a pens-and-pencils-focused subscription called "Penspiration," as well as a subscription that's the two boxes combined into one.

With the Stationery subscription (what I'm reviewing today), you can expect 5-8 items, including desk items like paper pads, pens, note cards, and journals, as well as some occasional lifestyle goodies. According to their site, this box focuses on much-loved brands, too, including CLEANSE by Lauren Napier, MUSE BEAUTY, Smitten On Paper, Rifle Paper Co, Studio Sarah London, Katie Leamon, Tools to LiveBy, and their own designs.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the Cloth & Paper Stationery, $38 a month, box.

The Subscription Box: Cloth & Paper

The Cost: The Penspiration subscription is $18.00 a month, the Stationery Box is $38.00 a month, and the Penspiration & Stationery Box is $48.00 a month. Save with 3, 6, and 12-month pre-pay plans. Free U.S. shipping.

Gold Foil Lined Index Cards, Set of 12

I can't say when the last time I used index cards was, but if I wanted to do it in style, these would be the ones. You receive a set of 12 that are double sided and lined with gold foil, so any information you write becomes automatically elegant.

Foiled Daily Checklist Cards, Set of 12

I love making to-do lists and it's something I do on the daily. These gold foil daily checklist cards can help someone like me keep organized and on-task. There are spaces for the date, day of the week, and numbered lines to jot down your tasks (with check-off bubbles!) There's even a space at the bottom for memos in case there is something you need to remember for the week.

Gold Foiled Out of the Office Notepad

Another beautiful notepad, this time to leave a note for someone after they've stepped out. Now that we live in the era of email, text messaging, gchat, and endless ways of communication, the out of the office message has mostly been forgotten. For shame! I personally think it's easier to scribble a note to leave on a coworker's desk sometimes than firing off an email that may be overlooked. I'm really going to shock people when I use these heavy card stock notes.

Vogue Notecard with Envelope

This card would be perfect for ladies with an attitude, or fellas that were in the mood. Don't just stand there, let's get to it. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it.

Gold Foiled Bits & Bobs Notepad

This notepad is a bit larger than the others at five by seven inches. Each leaf of cardstock is blank except for the words "Bits & Bobs" at the top in gold foil. Since it's unlined, you can use it as a sketch pad while gazing out your window, procrastinating, like I tend to do.

Brass Drawing Protractor - Value $10

Ahhhh this is so beautiful and exactly what I expect to see from a regal subscription like Cloth & Paper when they say they include "desk items". I have an obsession with vintage office supplies, and this has a very vintage feel. Would I ever actually use this as it's intended? No. Do I love it and will have it sit on my desk anyhow? Yes. This solid brass protractor has a wonderful weight to it and is sure to make me look stately.

Verdict: Cloth & Paper Stationery Box sent me six super fancy stationery items this month for $38. Per usual, most of the items included weren't available in their online shop and are exclusive to Cloth & Paper, so it's hard to nail down true retail values. All of the paper is heavy card stock with gold foil, and the protractor is solid brass. This subscription is for the classy stationery enthusiast who loves minimal well made papers and accessories.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sadly, no. But you have 3 days left to subscribe and receive the October box!

Coupon – No coupon at this time.

Value Breakdown: At $38 for this box, you're paying about $6.33 per item.
