Exclusive Moana T-Shirt Designed by EV Angelo
I'm the one person who hasn't seen Moana yet (I know, I know, I want to so bad!), so this tee probably didn't thrill me as much as it could have had I watched it. But the ocean-blue color is really fun, and the aspirational quote (in a cool, stylistic design) is inspiring. It's a pretty straightforward 100% cotton tee, which is a tiny bit stiffer than I would like, but I could see rocking this at the gym or on a run—situations where I could use a little Disney-inspired pep talk!
DC's Bombshells Wonder Woman Umbrella - Value $12.79
Ooo, I love the retro style of this Wonder Woman art! She looks so sassy—I love that she has a bandana in lieu of a crown! I feel like I always get stuck without an umbrella when I need one. I do have a snazzy one that I keep in the backseat of my car, but maybe this one will live in my office, where I can grab it for a quick run to my car at the end of a rainy day. I will say that, while the sleeve and the pattern are nice, structurally, this isn't the toughest or most high-quality umbrella in the world. But again, in a pinch, I won't be complaining!
Game of Thrones Daenerys Targaryen 4-Piece Coaster Set - Value $8.50
These four cork-backed coasters feature what appear to be four different stills from the show. They have a glossy top to them, so they should have some staying power (unlike plain cardboard coasters that tend to get a little funky after not too long). My only gripe about these coasters is that I feel like a lot of subscription boxes feature coasters. Maybe it's because I have a lot of coasters sitting on my coffee table right now, but this item isn't really wowing me (especially compared to the other unique items in the box).
Exclusive His Dark Materials Alethiometer Necklace by Fanmail and Hannah Hitchman
How cool! I love the brushed finish and long, 32" chain of this alethiometer. I kind of wish the hands turned (they're just illustrated on the face of the piece), but I think it's very cool that all the detailed symbols are there as soon as you pop open this pocket-watch-like, cosplay-ready accessory.
Exclusive Orphan Black Sestrahood Bracelet by Fanmail
Ugh, this is another show I haven't seen yet! I've heard such amazing things about this dystopian show, and I'm super curious about it—even more so now that I have this little bracelet! The bangle is only about 2.5 inches in diameter, but it's flexible, so it slid easily over my hand. The charms are made of a lightweight metal. I like that they only slide within the two loops of the bracelet. I never like when bracelets are too jangly!
The Verdict: FanMail is a lot of fun, especially if you're someone with a wide-ranging love of awesome movies, books, comics, and TV shows. I worry sometimes that I'm not well-versed enough for this box, but even when I get something from a show I don't recognize, I'm at least more motivated to check it out! I do with a few things were slightly higher quality (the shirt and the umbrella), but everything did its job of capturing the theme and a fun fandom vibe!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but past boxes do occasionally go on sale here.

Value Breakdown: This box cost $21.99 + $6.98 in shipping (to Pittsburgh, PA). On average, then, the cost that I paid for each of these five items is about $5.80. Both of the items I could find prices for were worth more than that amount, and I still feel like I'd pay at least $5.80 for the t-shirt and the fun jewelry.
