Texas Strong Socks

This sock design is an easy way to show your support for those impacted by the recent hurricane in Texas. As usual, these socks (made from a blend of cotton, nylon, polyester, elastic, and spandex) are really sturdy and have the kind of arch-hugging support that athletes will love. They're not particularly fashionable or trendy socks like you might find in other sock subscriptions, but they certainly are heavy duty and should last through plenty of wears!

Verdict: Again, these socks aren't the flashiest, but I love the heart that this subscription has. From the charity aspect of their business to the positive message on the socks themselves, it's a subscription I feel good about. The socks are really hefty, too. I feel like they're perfect for athletes, days spent working in the yard, hiking, or any other activity that has you up using your feet all day.

To Wrap Up:

I used to volunteer for Union gospel mission search and rescue, where we would pass out hot cocoa and sandwiches and blankets and other sundries to the homeless once a week. Socks were called ‘white gold’ by the homeless because they were so needed. Without laundry ability, pairs quickly degraded or got soaked in the Seattle rain. They were the next most popular thing next to the hot cocoa.

It’s nice when a business thinks about how they can give back in this way. 🙂
