Zenned Out Metal Moon Phase Bracelet - Listed Value $22.00

I found a similar cuff on the Zenned Out site, but it costs almost twice as much! This might be made from a less fancy metal (that's my guess at least), but it's super cute nonetheless. I love the simplicity of the design. It hugs my wrist pretty closely, but I think it's moderately flexible.

Little Moon Essentials Sleep Comes Easy Mineral Bath, 4 oz - Value $5.50

This bath is super dreamy. I was expecting something very lavender-ish, but while there is a lot of lavender essential oil in this bath, I was most struck by the less "obvious" relaxing notes, like the bergamot. What a lovely, comforting aroma to soak in!

Chocolita Moontime Rose Chocolate, 1.25 oz - Value $4.86

As soon as I hear "chocolate" my sweet tooth starts tingling. Unfortunately, I think I was expecting something a little more indulgent with this square. This chocolate is full of herbs aimed at aiding relaxation. While I think that's awesome, the flavor was a little too earthy, and I found the chocolate strangely waxy as it melted in my mouth. I think that distracted from the benefits that the herbs may have provided, too, haha! I love the idea of combining something very decadent with something meant to help relax and refresh you, I just wish I found it a smidge yummier!

Soapylane Peace Perfume - Listed Value $24.00

This perfume isn't on Soapylane's site shop, but other products of a similar size go for around the same amount. This solid perfume has a gentle fragrance that you can build up or keep low-key. The fragrance is really peaceful—it reminds me of the smell of just walking into a LUSH store, haha! It's apparently a blend of rose, chamomile, ylang ylang, and lavender (of course).

Starseed Supply Co Lucid Dreamer Patch - Value $10.00

I love patches and pins! This one has such an awesome design, and the colors are right in step with the vibe of the rest of this box. I don't know if I've earned this patch though—I've never experienced lucid dreaming, I don't think. I'll have to work on that!

Calm-A-Mama Organic Sleep Drops, 15 ml - Value $16.99

A few drops of this exilir help chill you out at the end of the day or before bed. I love the idea of dropping this into some sleepy chamomile tea to get me ready for bed. The drops are made with natural ingredients, including chamomile, motherwort flower, lavender, and lemon balm.

Rhodonite - Listed Value $6.00

The final item in the box is a small stone about the size of a chocolate truffle. It has smooth, rounded sides that feel cool and comfortable in my palm. This stone is supposedly good at inspiring the heart to heal after heartache and trauma.

The Verdict: I really liked the items in this month's box. I've noticed that the tone of this box has become a little more playful in the past few months (for instance, including the lucid dreamer patch, and the fun tone of the theme and the info card graphics). I like it! It makes these kinds of holistic items a lot more approachable. I also really liked that they featured so many small businesses and vendors!

I ordered this box during their Black Friday sale, for half price. I love everything, but you were much too kind about the chocolate! It’s really bad, inedibly bad! I am not too fond of very dark chocolate, but 78% chocolate shouldn’t be THIS bitter. It tastes like… I don’t know precisely what it tastes like, I just wish I could stop tasting it lingering after the single bite I ate. A glance at the nutrition facts says .5 oz (bar is 1.25 oz) provides 101% of your daily iron, and maybe that’s what’s so bad? It sort of does taste like what I imagine a slightly rusty nail would.

Anyway, the sleep drops taste amazing, they’re super sweet in a very surprising way, and more than make up for the awful chocolate.

My box was missing the perfume, which was such a bummer! I emailed them and they responded back within a few hours and are sending me a perfume. I hope it arrives safely! I’ve never had an item missing from this subscription before, is that common?

Oh no! It’s never happened to me with this box, but I’ve had different things go missing or go wrong in other subscriptions before. I’m okay with it so long as 1) it’s a rare occurrence and 2) the subscription’s customer service is helpful and speedy about getting that missing item to me. It sounds like the latter is at least true, which is a good thing! Has anyone else had something “go wrong” in a box before? Did customer care solve the problem ASAP?

Great question, Eva! I hope your perfume gets to you soon!

I like the box, but unlike you I wish they’d stop with the patches and pin filler items. I’d much rather another snack or even some meditation oil/cards, yoga socks/towel.. I’m not that picky.

I agree. I used to sub to this box, and back then (1-2 years ago, maybe) I used every single thing in the box, and loved them – beautiful essential oils, sprays (like smudge spray), cute/funky bracelets or earrings, etc. Now I find that there are only a couple of really nice items and the rest is just filler. I cancelled my sub for that reason.

I love the new cost breakdown for each item. Gana sign up if they do a promotion. Nice review.

That bracelet metal thing is bugging me now (jewelry metals are an area of interest to me). The one you linked to is aluminum, which is less expensive than sterling silver. If you look at the one you linked to, it has some fancy areas at the top and bottom that are kind of shinier than the rest, with a hammered texture. I am guessing the metal in both is probably aluminum and the extra detail gets you to the $40 price point (as opposed to the $32 from the information card).

There is a $32 aluminum bracelet at the link you get to if you click my name.

Making something like that out of copper or brass would be good practice for me. I don’t think I have moon phase metal stamps, though. (Off to Amazon…)
