Pretty sure I gave every one of those to Goodwill in 2001. Chenille is a big no – never again. Velvet can be classic and classy, but not in that cut of top or with the crushed texture… Yikes GT.

Probably catering to people too young to have worn this stuff the first time it was popular 😉
I’ve been away from GT for about a year and was thinking about a return this month, but just looking at that velvet top is giving me hives. Wore it back in the 90s, don’t need to wear it again.

I used to love GT…I stepped away for a while because I wasn’t loving the chosens, realized I haven’t been back in a year and a half! It’s gone downhill. On top of that they give you less items than before and charge more.

Some of these pieces look VERY dated.

I haven’t worn crushed velvet since I took gymnastics in third grade, and I don’t intend to start again now.

Can someone please tell me why chenille and crushed velvet are making their comeback? They were horrible in the 90s, and should have stayed buried in the past lol
