Jewelry Subscription is a monthly jewelry subscription service that sends one to three pieces of jewelry to you monthly. The number of items you receive is dependent on what plan you select.
When you join Jewelry Subscription, there is a quick survey that is provided to determine your “Jewelry Style Profile.” Styles range from classic to trendy to bold to conservative. You don’t have to necessarily select just one style; you can state that all styles apply to you so you get more of a variety of pieces! It also asks your ring size, what pieces you prefer not to get, your favorite colors, if you wear gold items, etc. This enables the curator to select something more personal for you. I opted to select bold because I am rather fond of big, statement pieces.
Also, this is not a jewelry rental service. You get to keep all the items selected for you!

Black and White Pageant Necklace (Retail Value Unavailable)
Last month, the necklace in my review had a blemish on it. The owner of Jewelry Subscription box was very kind about the matter and advised that she would send me an extra piece to make up for the quality issue. I had a commenter on my last review state that she was in a similar situation and the owner did the same for her. Not only did the owner send me an extra piece, but she personally selected the items for my box this time around. I am impressed with the great customer service in this matter and how it was all handled.
One of the items selected for me was this lovely bold statement necklace. I really love the thick chain on this piece. It is constructed with a clear wire to make the gems look suspended. Most of the gems look to be a plastic material, but this necklace is still rather adorable. I paired it with my long brimmed hat, striped top, and red faux leather biker jacket to spruce up a casual look, but I also wore it paired with a wedding dress in my latest ModCloth Stylish Surprise.
Autumn Teardrop Amulet (Retail Value Unavailable)
While communicating in emails with the owner of Jewelry Subscription box, she asked me if I disliked longer necklaces or preferred shorter ones. I typically wear one single necklace that is on the shorter side, but I am not opposed to trying out different lengths. She sent me this lovely, bold statement piece. The multi-faceted glass and the rhinestone details make it glitzy, but the details also give it a slight vintage gothic feel. The pendant has some weight to it and is well made. I have worn this necklace out a few times already and got plenty of compliments. I also like that it can be layered with some of my other necklaces for a more uniquely dramatic look.
Marcasite Ring, size 8 (Retail Value Unavailable)
I don’t normally wear marcasite rings or ones embellished quite like this, but I love how this pairs so well with either of the necklaces selected for me. It is a versatile piece that will go with essentially any outfit whether dressy or more casual. The sizing of this ring is perfect for me. I wore it out last weekend and had no irritation like I tend to with some costume jewelry rings, so that is a big plus as well!
Faux Onyx Dangle Drop Earrings (Retail Value Unavailable)
I am digging this all black and silver theme, especially since it is October and Halloween is so close! These earrings pair with all the pieces sent, but can be worn alone as well. These earrings are rather understated; which even a girl with eccentric tastes such as myself can appreciate. The versatility of these earrings is what make them such a great value.
Verdict: I am really pleased with the selections for me this month by Jewelry Subscription. I feel as though they really are perfect for fall, especially for October. They have a witchy quality that is appealing to me this fall. The product is important, of course, but I am also really impressed with the customer service given to me. I have dealt with businesses that would have blown off my concerns or may have tried to put the blame on me. I did not face that at all with Jewelry Subscription. They were very accommodating and helpful. Any business that puts their customer first like this is a worthwhile and a great value as far as I am concerned!
