Well, the shipping issues strike again for Loot Crate as their Stranger Things crate is now officially delayed until mid-November:

We know you were looking forward to chilling with your Stranger Things Limited Edition Crate while binging season 2 on Netflix on October 27th. Unfortunately, the crate won’t be shipping until mid-November. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. Friends don’t lie and we know we’re coming across like total Lando’s right now.

As for how this happened, we love Stranger Things (and you) and wanted to make the crate the best it could be. We think it turned out awesome, but sadly a couple of the items inside are taking longer than expected to reach our warehouse.

We promise it will be worth the wait!

Thanks for your patience,
Team Loot Crate

This is definitely a big bummer since I was looking forward to getting it in lockstep with season 2 airing.

Here is all of the current info we have from Loot Crate's limited edition Stranger Things Crate:

I ordered 2 crates for my friends whom they really like the series and up until now I still didn’t get any confirmation email that they sent these crates which bums me up, and frankly these are my LAST crates that im ordering from their site and i never gonna come back here. I can’t fathom this situation because you guys (LootCrate obviously) saw the amount of crate orders and you guys needed to prepare well in order to satisfy us- your customers, and that’s why im upset with you. Hopefully you’ll mend this in the future.

And this is why I cancelled my multiple subscriptions with them. Word is, they’re trying to sell crates to get the money for the next crates’ gear. They expanded too fast with all these extra crates and ruined a good thing. I mean, it’s delayed AND they already have 30% off a crate that no one has even received yet.

They also closed the subreddit for lootcrate, so you have to go to the spoilers one for any discussion on the topic of their many issues. I’m sort of side-eyeing at the amount lootcrate shows up on here without any real commentary on their issues. Or when crates come pretty late, it’s not as clearly mentioned, meaning people new to it, or thinking about it aren’t getting a real review on the crate. I think it’s more than it’s contents, and customer service is a big part of that. It feels like there will be an inevitable Nerd Block downfall and that sucks because I used to be a hardcore fan of LC and subbed to a ton of them.

I don’t think they can come up with any new late excuses.

They just need to change their name to LateCrate already.

I was going to say: soooo business as usual? They need to fire whomever is in charge of procurement because they can’t get timing right to savw themselves.

Great pun! Cracked me up… but sad that it’s becoming so true. First Firefly Cargo Crate(s), now this. One can only wonder if JK’s World is going to go onto the slow spin cycle as well, and it doesn’t bode well for confidence in the Fallout or Trek crates. Really hope Loot Crate realise they should also revise their subscription due dates (especially for longer sub’s) to take into account their lateness, and that a $10 voucher to Loot Vault (which will almost certainly end up costing the customer/s more than that if they use them) doesn’t cut the mustard. If they want to apologise properly, make it a $10 credit on the crate sub in question thanks or, you know, just put the late item in the next crate?
