Joy Mangano JOY Water Filter Set with Case and Bottle – Value $17.99 on Amazon

This item also appeared in this month's Mini Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter. That's a good FYI if you're thinking of signing up for both—there could be some redundancies. This kit comes with a water filter system and a little water bottle to keep that filtered water in. I imagine this would be a really handy item to have if you're a camper, or if you're worried about the quality of the water you're using to refill your water bottle with when you're out and about in town.

Noki Chalkboard Lunch Box – Value $5.43

This is another product I've seen before, but not in this subscription. I got this same box in a Peaches and Petals box earlier this year. That subscription is a lot like this one, in that you get a random assortment of household goods, but I've found that this box is just a bit more unisex and maybe slightly more random, if you can believe it! Regardless, this little plastic box comes with a chalkboard top and a marker that you can use on it. It's a cute idea and great for preventing leftovers from getting lost and forgotten in the fridge. My only qualm is that the lid isn't the most secure thing in the world—I'm happy to use this in my fridge or cabinet, but I might not risk using it for bringing lunch to work. I don't think it'd fare well tumbling around in a tote bag.

Outdoor Living Solar Powered Lantern - Value $10.00?

I couldn't find this lantern online, so I guessed at the value based on similar products I found. This solar-powered light is about the size of a football (and similar in shape, too). If you pull open the top, you can see that the solar panel powers a set of string lights, which glow inside of a translucent white tube. The resulting light looks a bit like fireflies caught in a cloudy jar. It's not a huge light source, but this could be cute for a quiet night out on the patio, or just creating some ambiance alongside a collection of candles or other lanterns.

Carex Foot Spa Bath Mat - Value $17.02

I love the idea of this bath mat! The bristles help slough off dead skin and massage your feet while you shower, and there's even a pumice stone you rub your feet against. You've got to remember to clean this mat off after each use, though! Otherwise, it could get funky fast...

Sinkbasics Sink Mat - Value $2.25

There's another type of mat in this month's box, too. This one is meant for the sink. It's about the size of my closed laptop and made of a sturdy bath-mat-like plastic. This is a great way to keep things from clanking around in the sink, which is great for someone like me who does a lot of hand washing.

Diamond Home Salad Cup with Fork Set of Two - Value $9.95

This set of salad cups are great for bringing lunches or snacks between work and home. The lids aren't super sturdy, so I'd be careful about keeping them upright in transit, but I love the convenience of having a fork and even a dressing cup that attaches to the container itself. They're safe for the top rack of the dishwasher, too!

Farmers Market Cheese Chipotle Pepper Cheese, 7 oz - Buy 7 Blocks for $17.99

Well, I definitely didn't expect to find cheese in this box! But here we are, haha! This little cheese has a bit of spiciness to it. It's handy for snacking, but I suppose I could pop this on a sandwich, too. While it was odd to get cheese in a box like this, I will say that I do at least appreciate that it's real Wisconsin cheese, which I suppose means it's a little higher quality?

Verdict: There were lots of handy items in this month's Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter. I think I'm most excited about the salad cups and the foot-scrubbing bath mat. I always like how surprisingly useful the products in this box are! The quality isn't the greatest, but I think I'll get some good use out of everything—even the cheese!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? There's no telling which random items you'll get inside this box, even if you sign up today. Subscribe now to get November's box of surprises!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $24.99 (with free shipping), but I estimate that I got about $62.64 in value, not counting the cheese (which I couldn't find listed individually). On average, the seven items in this box would have to cost $3.57. I think that's more than fair, given the retail values I was able to find!

I got one of those salad cups in Pet Treater like a year and a half ago. The same company is behind Pet Treater, Peaches & Petals, and this subscription, so I am guessing they got like a truckload of those somewhere. I think they are meant to be promotional merchandise you can have a company logo printed on.

I really liked this box. Some of the items were meant to take with you (work/other places) but I am retired and stay home a lot. Hope others enjoy what they received.
