There is always a card included in the box that lets you know who personally packed your box for you. I love the personalization! On the back, there is some information about a contest that is currently running to win a free family pak! I also received an awesome MunchPak sticker.
Cheetos Steak Flavor, 28 g. - Value $2.98? (here is a similar item that I based the price on)
Who doesn't love Cheetos?! This bag was enormous and I was super excited to see that they were steak flavored! You will notice the little image of a steak on the side of the bag, super cute! The flavors in each bite were almost sweet, like a nice steak sauce. We were all literally fighting over this bag of Cheetos they were that good!
Pollo Chips, 30 g. - Value $3.28? (similar item for pricing)
Yep, these are chicken flavored chips, and they are incredible! They aren't as salty as you would think, but instead, you get this amazing roasted chicken flavor. The chip itself is a classic Lay's but then you crunch into it and you get that lovely chicken flavor. OMG, these were so yummy!
Lotte Strawberry Yogurt Jelly, 50 g. - Value $4.00
These little jellies tasted like a gummy bear to me. They were fruity and delicious! The yogurt flavor made this taste almost like strawberry and cream. Even though these were extra sweet, there wasn't any sugar coating like you would normally get on a jelly like this. I absolutely loved this little snack and the packaging was adorable!
Bebeto Double Joy Licorice, 4 oz - Value $2.00
Rope licorice at its finest! Each little rope was covered in a sweet sugar that made this snack not only delicious but really pretty! You get a bit of sweet and a little sour. The strawberry flavors were so delicious and fragrant. I couldn't stop eating this snack!
Pop Kek With Banana, 45 g. - Value $2.00
I love when my snack boxes feature little cakes like this! This was a sweet vanilla cake with hints of banana flavor covered in chocolate. Everything about this snack was incredible. The cake itself didn't have that artificial flavor that packaged sweets like this normally have. Instead, it was rich and creamy goodness!
Ticky Roll Mango with Chili, 0.74 oz - Value $1.00
This was a unique spin on an ordinary fruit roll-up. I was a little nervous to try this since it is flavored with chilis and I haven't enjoyed snacks like this in the past. This one was really good though and not overly spicy! You get mild hints of spice as you continue eating this fruity roll, but you really get the wonderful mango sweetness more than anything. I love mango so this was a win for me!
Kreams Gold Pineapple, 2.35 oz. - Value $1.00
I have found that I don't love pineapple flavored snacks. Love pineapple, but I want the real thing instead of just the flavors of it! I did really enjoy these little cookies, but I found the pineapple cream filling to be a bit overpowering. It was very sweet and just hits you with nothing but pineapple. Who am I kidding though, I love any cookie really, and I totally still ate a ton of these. The cookie itself, flavored with pineapple as well, was crumbly and sweet.
Warheads Hotheads, 2 oz - Value $3.00
These mini worm gummies are noted to be extremely hot! When I first started eating one I was like omg these aren't hot, then I got to the center. Boy are these packed full of heat! The outside is coated in sugar which gives you a nice sweet and fruity flavor. The sweetness mixed with the hot center is oddly satisfying. I really enjoyed these and would totally buy a bag on my own!
Choclitos Limon, 27 g. - Value $2.00
These tasted exactly like a Frito! They were a bit larger and not as curled, but wow did they taste so much like a Frito! You could a ton of the wonderful lime zest and a bit of salt. I used to eat Frito pie a ton when I was younger at football games and I feel as though this snack is what I have been missing my whole life from every Frito pie. I clearly loved this snack!
Lotte Stone Age Chocolate, 35 g. - Value $3.00
These little candies were so cute, and my son got a kick out of the dinosaur on the package! Each little chocolate egg is meant to look like a dinosaur egg. This would make a great snack for any little kiddo! The snack itself was so sweet and delicious. Each chocolate egg had a hard candy shell that made a little crunch in each bite.
7Days Soft Croissant Peanut Butter Cream and Jelly Flavor, 2.65 oz. - Value $3.00
This was like a little lunch in a bag! I know that this might not look that appealing, but let me tell you how good this croissant was. The peanut butter cream is just that, a cream flavored with peanut butter that you would find in the center of a chocolate egg. It was so creamy and rich and then you get the hints of jelly for that extra sweetness. The croissant itself wasn't the most high-end, but it was buttery and flaky. Probably not the healthiest meal option, but I could totally see myself eating this on the go!
DiDi Peach Tea, 16.9 fl. oz. - Value $5.00
I am not the biggest sweet tea fan, but I really enjoyed this little drink! Plus, how cool is it that you can get a drink in your MunchPak box?! While you don't get a ton of the carbonation right away, you do get hints of bubbles as you go. The peach flavor was really yummy and nothing too artificial tasting or overly sweet. This to me was the perfect warm afternoon beverage!
Verdict: This was my first experience with MunchPak and I was really impressed with the variety of snacks I received! I loved that you could get a drink in your box. My favorite snack by far was the banana flavored cake, and I can safely say that I really didn't have one that I didn't at least somewhat enjoy! At $22.95 a month, all twelve items would need to have a value of $1.91. While I wasn't able to find most of these items online and went off of the MunchPak store prices, my guess is that each item comes in right around there if not above. I have tried many snack boxes and I usually love reading the information cards to learn more about each snack that I have received. MunchPak provides such a variety of snacks from all over the world that I would have loved to learn more about each one or at least where the snack came from. I was able to learn about each a bit more through the MunchPak site which was fun! Overall, the value is absolutely there and totally a fun box for someone that enjoys trying a variety of snacks.
