The instruction leaflet is not as informative as the how-to-video on YouTube, which I prefer to watch prior to starting the project. I use the instruction leaflet as a guide when I get stuck on a step.
This month’s theme is “Pining For Plaid”.
This month’s ink pad is in the color, “Cherry Cobbler” and the photopolymer stamp set has four sayings: “Happiest Of Holidays To You, Season’s Greetings”, “Glad Tidings Of Joy”, and “Have A Joyful Christmas and Happy New Year”, plus three decorative stamps.
Here I am adhering the dimensional strips onto the back of the card base and then placing the card base on the actual card. The cards were an easy assemble. It was more piecing materials together: adhering acrylic sheets to the cards, piling sequins in the center of the background piece, and placing the card base on top to show the greeting in front.
Here I stamped various greetings on the inside of the cards. I used stamped greetings from last year’s box as well as greetings from this month’s box.
The plaid green flap on the envelopes coordinate with the cards, hence the theme of the box, “Pining For Plaid”.
Here’s the finished card that I assembled.
Here is the three card designs finished look.
Verdict: This month’s Paper Pumpkin cards prepped me for the Christmas and holiday season early, with various card designs ready to send to family and friends. The craft was easy to assemble and there was little stamping involved, just piecing the materials together to display the designs through the acrylic backing. This was a fun crafting project and got me in the mood for Christmas. I had to play Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” because it’s not Christmas without Mariah. Their Christmas theme will run through next month. The design was festive and has a woodsy, mountain, cabin feel, like you’re spending your holiday in the woods. I especially like how well-coordinated the box is, from the box design to the cards and envelopes. The green plaid was an appropriate design. I’m excited to see what craft they curate for November. This crafting kit is well worth the $19.95 a month subscription. This box has good quality paper products and crafting supplies.
