3.9 overall rating

POPSUGAR Must Have is a monthly lifestyle subscription box for women. Each month they send a mix of items from categories like beauty, fashion, food, fitness, and home.

Super exciting news - this box is big and it is jam packed full of items!

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Subscription Box: POPSUGAR Must Have

The Cost: 39.95 a month

ACTIVE DEAL: Get $20 off your first box!
CODE: MSA20

The Products: “Must Have” items for women selected by POPSUGAR editors. (Fitness, Home, Beauty, Food, and more)

Check out all of my POPSUGAR Must Have reviews and the Women’s Subscription Box Directory!

Each box comes with a fold out card detailing the items included, and what themes inspired the box.

The themes this month are de-stress, cozy, bedtime. (AKA: my favorite words.)

So many items in this month's box that the fold out card needed an extra section!

Now, on to the items!

Jack + Lucy Pillow and Blanket Set - Value $49.99

How cute is this travel set? I love the black and white stripe - so chic!

The pillow has a hidden zipper with a removable insert:

This pillow is firm and would be great as a lumbar support pillow even when you aren't traveling.

Cute in an office, too, right?

The material is a 100% soft acrylic knit.

It measures about 31 by 46 inches long.

The instructions say only to spot clean with a damp cloth (no machine wash or dry clean), but I've had luck washing acrylic knit before, so I might through this in the laundry if it ever needs it.

UPDATE: Here is another picture to help show scale:

Perpetual Shade Dream On Sleep Mask – Value $39

If you're wondering how a sleep mask can cost $39, I've been using Perpetual Shade sleep masks every night for years now, and can tell you that they are worth every penny to me!

This sleep mask definitely feels luxe. The fit is comfortable, the band is wide and stays put, the 100% cotton fabric is soft and breathes, and it is oversized to help block out any light. I’m a super light sleeper who needs total darkness, a sound machine going, etc, and I need a quality sleep mask, too, and I’m very impressed with this mask.

I know this product may not be for everyone, but if you’re someone who needs a sleep mask I think you will love this. And maybe if you’ve only sampled cheap sleep masks before, this could be a game changer! (And at the very least, it will be helpful for travel.)

If you are a super light sleeper like me, please comment with any sleep tips/hacks - I need all the help I can get!

FlashPatch Restoring Night Eye Gels 5-Pack – Value $20

At first when I saw these I thought I’d have to wear them overnight but fortunately, that is not the case! You just need to wear them 5 minutes before bed, let the excess serum absorb once you remove them, and you are good to go!

I love a nice relaxing bedtime routine, and these were a perfect addition. They left my skin feeling hydrated and I had no issues of the eye gels slipping off like I have had with some other brands.

Lollia Dream White Tea & Honeysuckle Shower Gel - Value $22

First, this packaging! I love the metallic gold detail! Sadly, this scent just wasn't for me. I liked the formula - the body wash lathers nicely and doesn't dry out skin, but the Honeysuckle scent was a little too powdery for me.

And this item came with a coupon for $10 off your next order of $50 or more:

Nature's Bakery Double Chocolate Brownie - Value $1.49

If you are vegan and have been waiting for a POPSUGAR snack/sweet you can enjoy, this is your brownie!

The brownie is chewy, decadent, but not too sweet. Pretty much perfect.

Framebridge Promo Card - $30 Discount

Framebridge is a custom online frame shop. You upload the picture of your choice, pick the frame, preview it, then you're good to go!

Great news - custom framing starts at $39, so you can get the photo of your choice framed for only $9. But how do you choose....

Now, time for special extras:

Keurig The Original Donut Shop Coffee K-Cup Pods 6 Pack - Value $6

K-Cups as a bonus item? Yes to that! All day every day! Eric and I aren't too particular about our K-Cup brand (we usually do Starbucks, Trader Joes, or Whole Foods), but the Donut Shop is a solid contender, too.

And these K-Cups come with a pretty incredible coupon offer, too:

Normally, I don't get too excited about included coupons, but 50% off any Keurig of your choice?! We have a Keurig at home and at our office, but I have a feeling we'll either use this to upgrade one of our older versions, get an extra for the bedroom, or as a gift for the holidays.

Each box comes with a unique one time use coupon. Expires 12/31/2017.

Quaker Overnight Oats in Toasted Coconut & Almond Crunch - Value $1.60

I didn't know Quaker made overnight oats! You just add your preferred milk, put the lid back on, then store in the fridge the night before breakfast.

And there's no dairy in the ingredients so you can make this dairy free!

I'm gluten-free and don't eat oats, but I can tell you the toasted coconut smells amazing!

Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Ointment Body Spray - .86 oz Value $2.30

I've used the Aquaphor ointment before, so I was excited to give this a try - it's pretty amazing. Imagine getting a super fine mist version of the ointment that you don't have to rub in - that's how I would describe it.

Verdict: I can't believe how many items are in this box! I love the cozy/sleep theme, too - everything is perfect for me with the exception of the body wash. (And that's just a scent preference.)

And this box has a value of $142.50! (That's not counting the value of any of the coupons included, and I personally will be using both the Framebridge and the Keurig coupons, so that adds even more value for me.)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of today, 10/7, yes! When you click "Subscribe Now" on the POPSUGAR site, the box your subscription will start with will be highlighted.

For anyone curious about the Framebridge.com coupon. I received my finished product today. Wish like mad that I could post a photo of the finished product. It’s waaay beyond my expectation—and FAST! Yes, it costs a bit more than the $39 coupon amount — if you choose whatever you want, but if you’ve ever had a painting or photo professionally framed, you know it can be upwards of $900 depending on the size and frame type. So, to me, this was an extreme bargain for the quality received. I am more than impressed and will absolutely use them again for future framing. I sent a digital photo from my iPhone expecting them to say it wasn’t good enough quality to use. Nope. Delivered to my home today as beautiful as a professional photo so they had to have enhanced it in some way. Can’t say enough great things about them!!!!

FRAMEBRIDGE.COM = A++++++++++++++++++++++++

If anyone else has a Kuerig coupon code the want to give away I would really like it. My son just asked me for one for Christmas. Please!

Jennifer

Did anyone else’s Keurig coupon not take 50% off? Mine is taking $30 off the $79.99 unit and $40 off the $99.99 unit….I emailed Keurig but have not heard back and that was about a week ago.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Hi Jennifer,

The coupon is for 50% off the regular retail price, so if a Keurig is already on sale, it won’t be the full 50% off. Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Ah, ok, got it, thanks!

Marcia

I used the $30 credit for the frame – and they did a fabulous job! I received my order in one week. Great service and quality. I was sort of happily surprised for a change.

So for those of you not using it, I’m sure others might want it 🙂

Emily Ploch

I just went to use the Keurig coupon and it’s not giving me 50% off! It only gave me $30 off the $79.99 unit, which is like 37.5%. Is anyone else having this problem? I am waiting for a call back from corporate and will keep you updated.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Hi Emily,

The coupon is for 50% off the regular retail price, so if a machine is already discounted, that could explain why the coupon is only giving you an additional 37.5% off. Hope that helps!

Emily Ploch

Got it! The checkout was confusing. They should have changed the price to reflect the list price at checkout.

I am not impressed. And the k cup thing makes it even worse. So mucj garbage. If you use it that’s fine but i don’t. I dont know anyone does so they really just a waste for me. And they are helping ruin yhe world one cup of coffee ay a time. Hurray!

cheri

I use the fillable pop with mine.. No Kcups needed! 🙂 Its a great option. If you still have your coupon and don’t want to use it, I’d love to have it to buy one for my mom. 🙂

This is a super cohesive box, it sticks to a theme and everything is useful! I adore the travel blanket and pillow, putting it away for my next flight or long car trip.

Shirley

does anyone have any extra framebridge coupons? I have lots of cosmetics items I could trade out for it! Thanks!

I Know I am probably the only one BUT I just tried that brownie thing and well it was one of the worst things I’ve tasted in a LONG while.

Love the box by the way. 🙂 Just that brownie was so disappointing. lol

Jori

I AGREE, lol!!! 🙂 I ended up throwing it away.

One of my least favorite PopSugar boxes to date. I see I’m in the minority, but not one thing excited me in this box and almost all is now up for swap. Hoping November is better for my tastes!

Alex

I try so hard every month not to get spoiled and I’m pretty good at it. I was able to avoid them for this box. I just got it and I AM DELIGHTED! It’s so fun. Even the lil pillow and blanket. So cute, so small, but I’ll use them so much!

I love everything! EVERYTHING. This is my favorite box in a long time and I always love my Popsugar Box!

Victoria

Glad I cancelled. Sure I’d have used all these items, but I’d rather take that $40 a month and invest it into my savings or retirement or something. Really feeling like subscription boxes are such a waste of money lately.

I didn’t know Buckles made an appearance in this review….HeHEEEEE so darling…

Hi Liz,

I love the boots you are wearing, can you please tell me the brand/where you got them? thanks.

Thanks! They are United Nude Faux Fur Snow Boots from a few years ago. Here’s a sold out listing page if it helps: http://bit.ly/2gerFfj

Hope you can find them! 🙂

I loved this box and I opened it with a bunch of girlfriends who never saw a box. It wAs fun to introduce them to it and see their reactions as first timers. It also helped me judge this box! The first reactions were that they loved the pillow and throw, shower gel, frame , the coupon for coffee maker , eye patches and then the brownie. They were the most surprised with the mask and got a kick out of it. The overall impression was that your value of items for the cost of the box was well worth it. Think it was a hit with them.
I loved the subtle scent of body wash, pillow and Blanket and will swap the eye patches . If interested it will be on the swap board.

I got my box yesterday, I love everything in it but im SO sad because they forgot to put the keurig coupon in it and i was really looking forward to it 😭😭😭

Reply ButtonReply

Marcia

Just email them and I’m sure they will help you 🙂

I used mine! I didn’t really need another machine, but I couldn’t resist have a better model as a back-up.

Hey Liz, I don’t sleep well, like ever! All natural
Dream Water has been a total game changer for me when I have a really bad week. It’s a little sleep shot that you drink before bed. I had a free sample and I couldn’t believe how well it worked! I order it online and ha e it shipped. Dreamwater.com

Sleepy Beans from Bulu box. The best.
Also, check ferritin, a protein that stores iron. Most people with Restless Leg Syndrome have low levels, below 20.

I tried the travel blanket as a scarf with my black coat. So warm and looks awesome! And TWO food items, what’s not to like? As for the coffee, I save the cups and use them as seed starters. I also give to neighbors to do the same. Easier than using eggshells.

Anyone else have Postage Due before delivery? The USPS gave me a pink slip saying i owe $8.50 before they can deliver my box. I live in Phoenix and have never had this happen with any of my boxes. I’m super excited to get it though!

Reply ButtonReply

Marcia

Yikes! I’ve never heard of that. It’s supposed to be free shipping!

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I just received mine today, and I am sorely tempted to buy another one! I like the shower jel scent. The blanket/pillow/sleep mask are just perfect for my sister. She travels on planes frequently, and I know she’d love to use them. But I like them, too! Arg!! And I have a different version of the eye gels, but I tried this one tonight and like it almost as well. I’m not as puffy now, and I had a migraine today, so having the cooling on my eyes was a nice relief. And I’ve been meaning to buy a keurig for work, and now I can afford to! The frame “gift card” is ridiculous to me and shouldn’t have been counted as an item, IMO. But, whatever, overall this was a lovely box for me! Yay!!

Reply ButtonReply

MaryBeth

I received my box today. The pillow and blanket are laughably small. Super cute, but too small. I guess I will give the blanket to my toddler to add to her collection of baby blankets.

In general, I love a home focused box, so I’m happy. Definitely, a cozy fall theme. And I dig the black and white.

Reply ButtonReply

vanessa

I’m OK with the size since the pillow will accompany me to work & the blanket will go over my legs.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

If anyone doesn’t want their keurig coupon, I’d love to take it off your hands!
