Rocksbox is a designer jewelry styling and renting service. Members pay a flat rate every month to get unlimited access the Rocksbox collection and the option to buy the pieces they love most at a discounted price.
Upon subscribing, you'll take a "style survey," so Rocksbox can suggest jewelry pieces that fit your style. You can also browse their catalog and add pieces to your wishlist. Each month, Rocksbox will curate sets of three pieces to send your way, including at least one piece from your wishlist. When I first started my subscription, I got really excited to "shop" the site and added a ton to my wishlist. But recently, I've decided to let the stylists do the curating. So everything in this box has been picked by Rocksbox, rather than me. I can't wait to see what they chose!!!
Try on the items in the box, and wear them as long as you'd like. From there, you have two choices. If you love any of the pieces enough to want to keep them, you can put your $10 monthly "Shine Credit" towards your purchase. Or, if you're ready for another style, return your box using the free shipping label and reusable envelope you got with your shipment. Shortly after, you'll get a brand new box of jewelry to enjoy!
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

I love that everything comes packaged in sturdy little drawstring bags. I like using them to safely store the pieces before I'm ready to send them back. They're easy to spot on my vanity, too, so it's harder to lose them amidst my own jewelry collection!
Here's the booklet with the list of the products I received.
Here's the return label to use once I'm done with my pieces. The envelope the box comes in has a second adhesive strip so that you can reuse it on your return—isn't that cool?!
Aster Hyacinth Pendant in Cream - Member Price $54.00
Sometimes I think my style is hard to pin down. I like minimal, modern pieces, but I also like the occasional boho, organic-looking accent. I'm casual and laid-back most of the time, but I like pretty, eye-catching pieces all the same. This necklace is one of those pieces that perfectly hits the sweet spot of my style. I love the crisp, clean lines created by the gold chain (metallics are my fave), and I'm wild about the ivory thread-wrapped cord and tassel. They make this very basic, throw-over-your-head-and-go necklace feel artful, yet understated. (It's 30 inches long with 3 inches of extender chain, by the way.) LOVE this one!
Aster Verbena Choker in Gold - Member Price $54.00
I love the choker trend, but I've yet to find a style that feels really... fresh. Most of the ones I own come out when I want to feel really, truly, explicitly '90s. This collection of gold chains is the first choker I've put on that doesn't feel costumey. It's incredibly lightweight and comfortable. In the photo, I'm wearing it on the tightest setting—it's 12.5 inches long with 4 inches of extender chain. I feel like this piece could go either way. It could look edgy and sassy or romantic and delicate, depending on the outfit you wear it with!
Aster Celosia Drops - Member Price $54.00
How cool are these earrings?! They thread into my ears like regular hook-style earrings, but they look like some kind of super glamorous... ear... talons or something. HA! I love the thread details—they coordinate beautifully with the long necklace. This box was all Aster, and I think it totally sold me on this brand!
Verdict: Rocksbox was awesome this month! I'm digging the variety that I get from box to box, too. It's a fun way to shake up my jewelry looks without having to put down a huge investment. The subscription is just $21.00 per month (+ free shipping), and I got $162.00 worth of jewelry that I can eventually swap out for something else or buy for myself! $21.00 wouldn't get me very far at the mall or a cute local boutique, but here, I get three items to wear as long as I'd like. I've been really happy with the Rocksbox aesthetic—their stylists have done a great job picking pieces for me. So I'm a fan!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every box is different and packed based on the customer's tastes and what's available at the time. You can, however, give the Rocksbox stylists a nudge by adding your favorite pieces to your wishlist!
Value Breakdown: At $21.00, I saved $141.00 on this three-piece set! Granted, I do have to send them back eventually. But if I choose to keep anything, the $21.00 I spent on the initial rental goes towards that cost. If I keep everything, I get $10.00 off, too, meaning each $54.00 piece would only cost me $50.67.
