Fresh Wave Odor Removing Packs, 6 pack - Value $9.99

This item has been featured in past Squix intro boxes, and I'm pretty happy with it. Inside each mesh odor removing pack is a handful of little plastic beads that smell like a blend of citrus and fresh laundry. According to the package, they contain no harsh chemicals, nor harmful ingredients—just plant oils. I've been tucking a bag into each of my sneakers after a hike or a long day at the gym. It definitely helps keep them feeling fresh. And I like that the ingredients are more natural.

Mrs. Jones Soapbox All-Purpose Disinfecting Spray, 16 oz - Value $9.99

This spray has appeared in several intro boxes now! It's a winner, though—it has a lovely citrusy lavender fragrance and cleans on par with other all-purpose sprays I've tried. The coral-pink color of the bottle is nice, too. It looks a little cheerier sitting in my cleaning cabinet than the commercial products I've used in the past. Anything to encourage me to tidy up more often!

E-Cloth Washing Up Pad - Value $5.99

I have a lot of dishes that require handwashing, so I love little scrubbers like this one. This particular scrubber is meant for tougher dishes, like cookware and bakeware—the bottom side is something between a plastic scrubby sponge and a metal scouring pad, which helps get at that extra crust and grime. I like that it has a handle on it, too, so that it doesn't get lost in the soapy sink.

FREE GIFT Manna Vogue Double Wall Stainless Steel Bottle, 25 oz - Value $30.00

This item has also appeared in previous introductory boxes, so I'm glad more folks will be able to enjoy it! I love the bright colors of this stainless steel water bottle—the cranberry hue really pops against the bright blue. It's huge, too, so it makes staying hydrated a lot easier through the day. (No need to pick up a spare bottle of water while you're out running errands!) Know that, because it's steel, it does clank around quite a bit—I popped mine in a tote bag along with keys and makeup and such, and it sounded a bit like I had a bell in my bag when I went for a walk, haha! But overall, I like it!

FREE GIFT Mixture Candle - Value $20.00

I love the way this candle smells! The fragrance is "Orange Vanilla" and as you might expect, it's deliciously citrusy and creamy sweet. And the jewel-toned votive it sits in is really gorgeous. (I've been getting very into teal for this fall season.) This is another repeat item, though in previous introductory boxes I've seen, the color of the votive was different. I'm glad that this fall hue is featured in this October box!

FREE GIFT Sweet Dreams Lavender Eye Pillow - Value $20.00?

At the time of writing this review, I couldn't find this item on the Squix site, but their reps let us know this has a listed value of $20.00. That seems like a lot for an eye pillow, but I do love the gentle lavender scent that it sends floating around my sinuses. It definitely is soothing, as is the nice weight of it laying over my eyes.

Verdict: I estimated that this Squix Qbox was worth about $95.97, which is more than Squix even advertised it as! I will say that some of the listed prices seemed steep for some of the items (the candle and the eye mask, in particular), but all in all, I still believe it's a great box. I think if you're interested in discovering new household products, that go beyond common commercial brands, then this subscription (and this introductory Qbox) could be a great find!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! But hurry—this special offer box with these specific products is only available while supplies last!

ACTIVE DEAL: Get two FREE gifts in your box (for a total of five items)!
CODE: MSAFREEGIFT

Value Breakdown: I paid $21.93 (price + shipping) for this box and estimated there to be about $95.97 worth of items inside. That means I saved an estimated 77% on these products! Using that math, here's about what I spent on each item:

  • Odor Removing Packs - $2.28
  • All-Purpose Spray - $2.28
  • Scouring Pad - $1.37
  • Water Bottle - $6.86
  • Eye Pillow - $4.57
  • Candle - $4.57

The eye mask & the Mixture candle have also been featured in the Vine Oh box. I wonder if these 2 boxes are associated with each other.

Monica

They are not but mixture candle and squix are both in Kansas City.

Actually, both corporate offices show the same address, 4600 Madison. So it looks like vine oh and squix are affiliates.

Vine oh is also in Kansas City.
