I agree, Causebox is great. Just got my first box, Fall, and the quality of the items and the customer service is impeccable. I hope they can keep finding “cause” products as the essential oils where the only items that didn’t really fit the cause theme. Although they are a nice addition and I am breaking them up to give as stocking stuffers!

I’m loving all these suggestions. Now I have Boxwala, Rickys and Pearlesque on my list.

Elevita. The handmade products are amazing, it’s only $30/month compared to the new pricing on GlobeIn, the store has a lot of nice inexpensive things, and it’s run by volunteers so more money goes to the artisans.

Redbird Vintage! MSA reviewed it a couple of times last year but it’s a unique model and their customer service is amazing. Crazy good value for what they provide too. I’m loving Heima Box too, especially their Börn baby box. It’s new but MSA should Review the large box- the owner is truly outstanding to work with and I’m redecorating my house thanks to this box!

Rescue box for my pups! They absolutely love everything in every box they have gotten. Plus, the money helps animals in need. It’s a win-win in my eyes.

I agree with those who said Pearlesque!

my favorite for my young girl is Boodle box!!! It has been a great experience

So happy to see Goodbeing mentioned several times since I recently signed up! I love that you can pick 2 of your samples. When I was searching for reviews I was surprised how great it seemed, considering I hadn’t heard much about it! Can’t wait to get my first box in Nov 😊

I love Universal Yums! Each month we get a whole bunch of goodies to try from the country they’re featuring and the booklet inside is so well done! We always learn something new. Just got our Belgium box this weekend and it is amazing!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Oh, that sounds like fun. I’m adding it to my wishlist. Thanks so much!

Yes!!! Universal Yums has been wonderful. It’s so much fun–and educational. My 3 year old knows that box when it comes. Great family time.

I feel like Mommy Mailbox gets ignored because of the name. They need a non-Mommy version with the same products since there’s nothing Mom-related in the boxes anyway. It’s so good! There’s a cashmere scarf in the October box!

Reply ButtonReply

Judy

Where does it show there is a scarf?? Only two spoilers for October and neither are a scarf…

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I got my box—it’s a pink Breast Cancer Awareness theme. They are donating to a charity for breast cancer. It’s a beautiful huge pink cashmere scarf! I loved everything this month! The earrings are gorgeous too!

Meg

I just got my box! It’s so good this month!

nelliebelle1197

Luxor is the non-Mommy version. Same company.

Rickys cult crushes is definitely underrated. Sept had a mini flat iron, a peely mask, a large z palette some sample argan oil packets, a travel size mousse and a free full size heat protector coupon. This month october has this really pretty liquid lipstick a put on your finger beauty blender type sponge some interesting tingly chapstick eyelashes and miceller wipes. Amazing for 11 bucks

Not just lashes…House of Lashes, which many have said are the best. Ricky’s is a great box, and I don’t know why it doesn’t get more attention.

Siren

Wow, I can tell reading this is going to be expensive! lol

Janie

Happy Rebel Box! To me they have the best items and best customer service of any of the “luxe” boxes but I feel like they don’t get nearly as much love as some of the others.

dmg

The inclusion of skeleton-themed items was what keeps me from subscribing.

Benevolent Beauty Box is amazing! Cruelty free, natural products that are superior in quality. This month’s box has a pumpkin seed serum that has made a a dramatic and glowing change on my skin after a week. Rachel’s curation and CS is impeccable.

Cjchav

I agree the customer service is fantastic, and she always goes above and beyond! The mystery boxes are the best!

My experience wasn’t quite impeccable. Product spilled inside box, half gone. Gave $10 credit towards purchase but everything over the amount. Canceled.

Debbie

Mizzfit quarterly box. I have found so many great products! My favorite brush, acne dots, snacks, exercise ball, etc. really love that box. Feels well curated.

I loved reading this article, Thank you. There’s so many boxes out there and only so many reviews, so this was a nice reccomendation thread.

I won some boxwalla boxes and I must say this sub is awesome and if I could afford it, I definitely be buying their boxes!

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

1. Goodbeing. Best sub in it’s category hands down.

2. Pennie Post. I don’t know why more people who love stationary don’t sub to this. I am billed monthly for $10.23, which is the discount for committing to subbing for a year. You get three cards, sometimes four. If you don’t get a fourth card, you get a little extra, like an mini card or beautiful gift tag (quality, not the cheap kind).

3. Haven Paperie. The cards are great and it’s an affordable subscription. Includes postage too!

4. Plum Deluxe Tea. The tea is amazing and your subscription includes a special members only site with a weekly newsletter, recipes, podcasts, and there is a Facebook group.

Goodebeing is another one that I wish was reviewed more often. They are top notch in their category and have gone above and beyond. I can’t even begin to tell you all the amazing stories about how they have been so wonderful and responsive to my inquires! I can never let them go because they always “hit it out of the park” for me each month!

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Oh, I love adagio tea- better tea club. It’s really quality tea and you get it for 6.99 free shipping per month. They send you 2 or 3 different teas depending on whether you pick loose or bagged. It’s just awesome. I discover some of my favorite tea through them.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

I had a bad experience with goodbeing CS- I switching to love goodly and they’re awesome!

I love Comicboxer. I wish you did reviews on them. It’s awesome comics.

Yummy Bazaar is a great foodie box. I have subscribed for over a year and have never been disappointed. Value is always well above cost of box, wonderful assortment and shipping is consistent. Have found some great pantry items that I have been able to purchase from their shop. Looking forward to the October box.

I’ve never seen a review, spoiler, rating on Rickys NYC Cult Crushers box. I don’t see many ratings on Lip monthly.

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

2 subs I really like.

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

Come to the forum for discussion of Cult Crushes! 🙂

MakeupJunkie13

I love lip monthly, been subbed for about three months now and everything has been really great. Its a total surprise, and other makeup items not just for lips, but mostly lip stuff. I have a lip product fetish so its perfect for me.

Beautyfix is underrated, it’s amazing the quality skincare you receive for a very minimum price and Avenue A by adidas fell hard from grace , I really hope they come by strong.

Reply ButtonReply

JA

Beautyfix is not underrated at all. MSA reviews it every month and people always talk about it.

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

I think Beautyfix is not underrated as everyone is always raving about it. I just sent my sister a box too! lol

Reply ButtonReply

Laurie

CatLadyBox, which delights me (and my kitties) every month. Such great curation, and the best cat toys around.

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

The banana-shaped Yeow catnip toy is incredible! Most popular item in our household!

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Papergang – each month they knock it out of the park with value and great stationery.

Xoxkit. – I’ve loved all the boxes of crafts I’ve received, and through them learned some wonderful techniques! The supplies they send are top notch.

Beth

My “boys” love those bananas, too! And it’s hysterical to see them carry them around the house!

Kristin

Seriously the best cat toys! I have ordered at least 10 beach balls and gifted them.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

Beauty Fix from the Dermstore!! So many high quality skincare products.
(I’m 55 and more interested in skin care than makeup.)

However, I’m still always looking for a beauty box that sends foundation and concealer. I guess it’s too hard for any to customize a box to that level.

Reply ButtonReply

Elena

I received a concealer and a couple of bb creams from Ipsy during the last year. I’m very pale but they were always a good match. No guarantee that you’ll get this types of products though.

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Causebox is underrated to me. Their curation is really thoughtful. They include wonderful written materials about the causes, fair trade partners, etc. that they support. And the overall price/value ratio is consistently good for a box that focuses on giving back. Love them! ❤️

Reply ButtonReply

Mia

Agreed! I’m a huge fan of Causebox! Beautiful curation and I love that everything is ethically made and, often, ethically sourced. Even if you only like half the things and gift the rest, you get a good deal!

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

I agree SO MUCH! I will be adding that sub after I cancel some of my beauty subs in the next month or two

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

White Willow. They send very high-quality items for a reasonable price.

Reply ButtonReply

Lynda

I agree, White Willow is amazing . It is the one box where I never swap,or re-gift , a single item. Just love it all too much! CS experiences I have had have been excellent also.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

This is one box I have debated on for years but never pulled the trigger.
