The October box was a mix of treats and Halloween inspired toys.
You'll get a few information cards - but these won't detail all of the items and values from your box.
Frankenstein ZippyPaws Toy - value $6
The first of two plush toys is this plush Frankenstein.
This toy doesn't have any stuffing inside, but it's a nice, soft plush and has a big squeaker inside!
Buckles was VERY into this toy - I think it's good for a small to medium sized pup!
Pumpkin ZippyPaws Toy - Value $8
The second toy is this smiling Jack-O-Lantern.
Unlike Frankenstein - this one is stuffed and includes a squeaker. I think this one was just a bit too big for Buckles - he was definitely less interested.
Paws Bakery Bow Wow Snicker Doodles - Value $7
The box had two bags of treats this month - the first is a honey and cinnamon treat - that sounds pretty delicious!
These are made with all-natural ingredients and look good enough to eat myself!
Like me, Buckles thought that these would be a tasty snack.
As expected - these were a favorite of Buckles! While they are crunchy, they still didn't require a lot of effort to break into smaller pieces - which is important for our dog, he tends to shy away from harder treats.
Down Dog Snacks Appleberry Zensations - Value $10
The second bag of treats is another all-natural offering!
These little hearts are grain-free and made with applesauce and blueberries - again, that sounds good enough to snack on!
And again - Buckles was a big fan of these! They're a good size for him in general but were a tad bit harder - so it took him a bit longer, but he gobbled it up.
Smokehouse Pet Products Chew - Value $2
The last product is an all-beef chew. If you read our dog reviews you might know that Buckles has a pretty sensitive stomach when it comes to chews like this - so we always end up gifting these ones.
Verdict: My values came to around $33 - which is slightly above the cost of the box and more in line with the type of value you'd get from a BarkBox. Overall, Buckles definitely loved most of these items - so that's a win - but I do love it when we get clothing items from Dapper Dog, I think that's a big differentiator in the category! In the end, if the pup is happy, then we're happy.
