Third & Main is a monthly subscription box full of home boutique finds. You can expect decor items, kitchen items, etc.

The Subscription Box: Third & Main

The Cost: $54.95/box (available monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly) plus $10 flat rate shipping for most of the continental US. $15 to California.

The Products: Third & Main is a subscription box that brings the charm of small-town main street boutiques to your door. Each carefully curated box will include home and self-care items from “mission-minded” vendors right here in the US. Third & Main also includes information on the vendors, so you can keep supporting the small businesses you love.  According to their site, each box contains 4-6 full-size items with a total value anywhere between $85-$110!

The box includes cards highlighting the month's selections and the vendors/makers behind each item. The cards are bound together into a booklet. This month's theme is "The Gathering Table."

Now, on to the items!

Pumpkin Salt & Pepper Shakers - Value $7.50

These salt and pepper shakers are porcelain and SO CUTE!

I also love that they are all white - if you aren't that into seasonal decor, this is a nice subtle way to add more pumpkins to your table!

(And I actually thought these would retail for at least double the $7.50 price!)

Porter Lane Home Fringed Runner - Value $29.95

This table runner is a Cotton/Linen Blend with a fringe edge. (It measures 84 inches long)

And each side has the "gather" text. I think the muted tones of this runner should work for most decor. (And this can work beyond Thanksgiving, too!)

Wild Cherry Spoon Co. Serving Platter - Value $30

This piece is hand carved - so each piece is unique! The center is carved out a bit more to keep food in place. (This would be perfect for serving bread.)

It measures about 11.5  inches long by 5 inches across.

The Royal Wren Pumpkin Pie Scones Mix - Value $9

These sound delicious! (I fall into the category of people who love all things pumpkin spice.) Unfortunately, I have to avoid gluten, but the presentation of these scones makes it a perfect hostess gift!

Hester & Cook Paper Placement Pad - Value $13.50

This set includes 12 sturdy paper sheets that measure about 10 inches long.

You can use them for table decoration, name tags, accents under flatware, etc:

Verdict: This box has a total retail value of around $90. That's pretty fair, given the $54.95 price for the box (plus $10 shipping to most of the US). I think this box is well-curated, and they do a great job matching a theme.

I think my one hesitation with this box is that it seems as though the design styles change from month to month. Sometimes I find the aesthetic to be modern and clean (which I love), other times it is a bit more rustic.
