Each box includes information on each featured item and pictures, too.

Now, on to the items!

Large Fall Scarf - Value About $26.90

This scarf is 100% acrylic and SO soft! Based on the spoiler picture I thought this would be a sheer, light scarf, but the fabric is actually pretty substantial!

(Subscribers will either receive this shade, a dusty rose, or a midnight blue.)

Petit Maison Brie Baker - Value $20

How adorable is this little ceramic brie baker? And it's dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe!

And it comes with a bamboo spreader, too:

And White Willow included a brie topping - all you'll need is the cheese and some orange juice!

Gourmet Village Baked Brie Cranberry + Fig Topping - Value $5

The ingredients are simple, too: Cranberries (sugar, sunflower oil), figs (rice flour), turbinado sugar (sugar, molasses).

You just mix this blend with orange juice, microwave for 60 seconds, then pour it on top of the brie before baking.

Scentuals Caramel Cream Lip Balm - Value $4.75

This lip balm is all natural and the caramel flavor is fantastic! It's super moisturizing and gives your lips a slight sheen, too.

Cheri Arome Glow Face Lotion - About $18.19 USD

It's probably because of the color, but this lotion reminds me so much of classic yellow Clinique lotion. The formula is rich without being greasy, and there's no discernable scent. I like it!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $74.84 US dollars. Considering the US price is around $43.60 $54.99 a box shipped, I think that's a good value for a box shipped from a different country. I'm really impressed with the mix of items, and I don't feel like any of the values were inflated either. This seems like a lovely fall box without being a box full of pumpkin-spice things, too. (Not that I'd have a problem with that, though!)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. As of today (10/23), your first box would be the December box.

Coupon – no coupons available for this subscription.

Value Breakdown: At $43.60 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Scarf: $15.67
  • Brie Baker: $11.65
  • Brie Topping: $2.91
  • Lip Balm: $2.77
  • Face Lotion: $10.60

I loved your amusing comments! Thanks for giving me a laugh out loud from , “Or even people who hate little wooden spatulas.”

I absolutely loved this box–especially for the value. My husband and I whip up charcutterie trays on a regular basis when watching netflix–with or without guests. It’s fun and delicious. I haven’t baked or served brie in a long while, but will certainly be picking up either some goat cheese or brie very soon. I’m excited to use this cute little specialty baker with spatula and toppings. This would cost $60 to $100 at any of our local boutique stores here in Memphis. This would also make a great gift for some, but I’m not parting with mine. I also loved the scarf. It’s large and not too bulky making it perfect for fall weather. I am in hospital medical device sales so anything I wear into the hospitals, I have to either keep wearing once inside (with heat) or have the ability to tuck into my tote bag. So, I am a huge fan of scarves for this reason. Lip balms make great stocking stuffers if you can’t use them yourself. I personally like to keep one or five in my nightstand drawers to use at bedtime for soft lips in the morning. And, I am extremely picky about skin lotions or potions for my face. With these wonderful ingredients this one won’t go to waste.

I’ve decided in my years of living that some people just like to complain and/or be negative for the sake of complaining. Being dramatic and negative can be addictive for some. A true helpful negative comment that is shared for constructive purposes is easily distinguishable from an unproductive comment from a negative individual. Just bypass their comments like I do and keep enjoying your happy day. lol

I loved this box! To me it was a cozy, thoughtful , quality , fall curation with not a pumpkin spice anything in sight! The scarf is soft, warm and a deep, rich charcoal color. Simply lovely. The lip balm and lotion seem quite fine to me. Small batch, small businesses seem to put out quality items. With the change of seasons I am happy to have both, and I am thrilled to have the Brie baker and topping. Loving my White Willow box!

I am probably the only person in the world that doesn’t like Brie but I have several of these little bakers. I use them for little dessert bowls or for small portions of nuts, soup, etc. Think outside the box ladies!

So, since I’m not subscriber, I (sadly) can’t get this box. So for all of you that hate it, anyone interested in selling theirs to me? I will pay for the cost of the box and shipping. And, of course, reimburse you for the initial shipping costs when they sent it to you. I happen to think this box is fabulous. I find it creative and lovely. I love the little Brie Baker and I’m always happy to have new lip balm. I lose those suckers all of the time so it seems like I never have enough.

The Brie baker is an item a few select will use. It’s a very odd choice for a sub box IMO. And another scarf? Jeez enough with the dang lip balms (come on one tube lasts forever!!!), and scarves. It’s like these sub boxes have no creativity and looking for cheap options.

Do you think that maybe you have too many boxes? Maybe you have too much stuff, that’s why nothing makes you happy. The last time this box sent a lip product was February, and the last scarf was in April and it was more of a sheer, gauze scarf. Last October they did send a plaid scarf, this month’s scarf has a completely different feel.
If you have multiple boxes, you will get duplicates, but that’s not the box’s fault. They plan these boxes months in advance, and it’s not like they all consult each other about what they’re sending. This is a great fall box. A new scarf to keep you warm, lip balm and face cream since the colder air is drying, and a little baker and topping that would be great for a cold night staying inside with friends and family. That baker could be used for anything! I think it’s the perfect size for warming up leftovers for a single person.

Kelly, do you have the Brie Baker listed? I’m not seeing any listings for it on swap but maybe I’m missing something. I would happily swap for it. If you dislike your entire box, perhaps you would want to swap for the whole thing or sell it? If you want to send me your swap ID, I will shoot you request.

I’m wishing I was still subscribed! Kelly, if you have anything/everything from this box listed, I’d be thrilled to swap you something that would work for you! (After Christine of course!)

You can’t complain about boxes having no creativity at the same time you’re complaining about a creative item that they included in the box.

Emilia

Well, yes, you can. This “creative” item is also highly exclusive of all the people that don’t cook, especially something this gourmet.

Maureen

I will take ANYTHING in this box. Love the brie baker – perfect for the holidays. Love the scarf…so bummed I didn’t sub to this!

A no name plain acrylic scarf – how exciting! A cheap lip balm. A small bag of topping. The value for this particular box is low for me. And no coupons…

Stephanie

Coupons are the worst part of subscription boxes, why would you want them?!

Reply ButtonReply

Kim

If you don’t like the items why would you want coupons for their “no name” manufacturers?

The Brie baker is awesome! It is such any easy appetizer but feels so fancy. This box was great!

This looks like a fair-value and tasteful box.

Nice box! I think this is the best White Willow box I’ve seen.

I’m a little confused – I thought shipping to the us was $14.57? I was thinking that the cost for the box would be around $52?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Sorry about that. Looks like I used the incorrect shipping info. It should be $69.45 Canadian dollars total (or $54.99 USD) to ship to this box to the US. I’ll update the post.

Thank you and sorry again!

Should probably update the value breakdown too…
