Well well well! It's worth noting that YumeTwins got a bit of an overhaul this month! They have a new box design, and the info booklet has been replaced by a simple card directing you to find out more about your items on their website.

Hello Kitty Halloween Donut Squishy - Value $10.39

My, this is a bit terrifying for a Hello Kitty item. Squishies are everywhere I look these days, but this one takes the cake! It's quite large (the size of an actual donut) and has such a fun and unique colorway. As always, she has her signature bow, but instead of red, it's green with purple polka dots for a more seasonal flair.  As usual, it comes complete with a chain to hang from somewhere like a charm.

Cardcaptor Sakura Pillow Case

I wasn't familiar with Cardcaptor Sakura, but Anna at MSA knew about her right away due to the awesome art from her Manga. She is apparently a pre-teen girl who hunts monsters and puts them in card form (hence, "Cardcaptor"). She is also a Princess in another world, which is probably something a lot of us imagined as a youngster. This pillowcase is rather large but has instructions on how to properly fold and tuck the end to make it fit your pillow. It's very silky and soft, so I imagine it's good for people who wake up with matted hair in the morning. The front of the pillowcase features her surrounded by flowers and an animal friend of sorts while the back is yellow with a pattern of some corresponding items like cards and wings among tiny polka dots and stars.

Round Animal Kawaii Plushies

Out of the 10 different animals, I could have received, I got this pink doggie. At least, I think it's a dog? It's little floppy ears and short tail point towards that. It's made of ultra-soft fabric, measures about 7" round, and has brown eyes, nose, and mouth. I'm trying my best not to hold on to too many stuffed animals these days (which is hard because I receive SO MANY cute ones), but I think this would be better as a gift to one of the new babies I know soon coming into the world!

My Melody Memo Pad

My Melody is having a renaissance right now. I've been getting so much of her merch lately. This time, it's a four-inch square notepad featuring her floating in the sky in and upside down umbrella full of flowers. Her little house is below and looks like the cutest cottage in some pink rolling hills.

Sumikko Gurashi Lanyard

You could have received a Sumikko Gurashi or a Rillakuma lanyard this time, and I would have been happy with either. The Sumikko Gurashi gang on mine is pictured at one of their favorite spots again - the hot springs! I love how round and squishy they all are as they relax in the spa-like environment. This orange lanyard will come in handy when digging around in my enormous bag for my keys, or if I'm out for a stroll but need to bring my keys along without a purse.

Kawaii "Higemanju" Cat Gamaguchi Pouch

Tee-hee! This round beige kitty has the silliest face with her tongue sticking out and eyes closed. I love how her little white feet dangle off of her purse body when hanging from your shoulder by a green nylon cord. You can fit a few items that you need inside her kiss lock closure, like lip balm, some money, or whatever trinkets you need to keep on you. She even has a gold bell around her neck so she jingles everywhere you take her.

Also wanted to take a moment to say how cute the inside of the new boxes are!!

Verdict: The new and improved YumeTwins this month was chock-full of quality licensed kawaii items! I don't think it beats last month, but I love the new packaging and the fact that they decided to cut down on paper and direct you to their site instead. Looking forward to seeing what comes next from the fresh YumeTwins! Per usual, I can't find most of the items online, but they ended up being less than $6 each if you estimate their value based on the cost of the box. That seems pretty fair to me!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Sadly no, but you have until the end of this month to order the November box (check out recent spoilers here).

Value Breakdown: At $35 for this box, you're paying about $5.83 for each of the six items.
