A-Box has some really great packaging - the Limited Edition box have higher-end versions of packaging - but even the monthly box has smaller items in smaller compartments to help get it to you in the best possible condition.
The 'Power' box featured items from Thor: Ragnarok, Mega Man, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Metal Gear.
Thor: Ragnarok Packable Backpack - Value $20-25?
4 items are A-Box Originals this month - the first is this backpack. I've seen totes that pack up into a small little bag - but this was the first backpack I've seen - it's cool!
It has a simpler construction to keep it very lightweight and packable.
While it's a pretty simple backpack, it has to be, there are still a few pockets - definitely awesome for emergency use! I was also shocked at how easily it went back into the small bag!
Star Trek: TNG Isolinear Coaster Set - Value $15-20 on Amazon
One of the non-exclusive items is a set of two coasters from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
These are acrylic and have a bit of a glow in the light - very cool detail.
Mega Man M.U.S.C.L.E. Figures - Value $6-10 (for exclusive color)?
I just received a few more M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in a Loot Crate DX not too long ago - so I'm now familiar with these little things!
I believe that the blue color is an exclusive A-Box variant since it's listed as exclusive on the card.
If you liked all of the old toys, then this is a fun throwback!
Metal Gear Solid Snake Titan Figure - Value $7-10?
This is marked as an exclusive on the card - but I'm not sure why, as this figure is available = maybe I'm missing something?
This is part of a blind box line - so it arrives in a package.
Everyone gets Snake from Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain.
I've never been really into Titan vinyl figures - but they have some good ones in this line!
Thor Nordic Mythology Necklace - Value $10-15?
The final listed item is an A-Box original necklace featuring some Nordic mythology related to Thor.
It's almost hammer-shaped, too!
It's made with a genuine leather cord as well.
Star Wars: Rogue One Watch - Value $15-30?
I'm seeing a bunch of these pop up for resale on eBay - so I'm pulling the value from there.
The card mentions a bonus item - and this is that item!
It's a basic wristwatch - it's got a plastic band with a great 'Death Trooper' watch face.
The tin it arrives in is fantastic as well! I'm loving the Death Star lid.
Verdict: While the value is most certainly there this month, it goes down as my least favorite box from them yet - but they're also only about 3-4 boxes in! It just didn't hit a bunch of brands that I love to collect, so it's really just a personal reaction to my unboxing. Overall, the box has been a fun entry into the geek box world and I still think there are some awesome things to come!
