This is the information card that came in the package. It lists each item in the box with suggestions on how to use them. My husband is an artist, and he was completely excited to play with all these new toys!
Bonus! An Art Snacks sticker and candy were also included.
YUPO Medium Mini Paper Pad by Legion Paper - Retail Value $1
This tiny pad is just 2.5"x3.75", which makes it super cute and fun! It also makes it a little hard to draw on, says my husband. He LOVED the quality of this paper and said it has a nice finish and doesn't bleed at all. He wishes he had the paper in bigger sheets, which of course Legion does make and sell online.
Tombow TwinTone Dual-Tip Markers - Buy a set of 12 for $19.99
These markes have both a broad and fine tip so they are pretty versatile. My husband was very impressed with how easily the colors blend! He liked these a lot.
Molotow Liquid Chrome Marker, 1 mm - Retail Value $10.95 (Found on sale here for $8.76)
Amsterdam Titanium White Acrylic Marker, 2 mm - Retail Value $7.99
My husband really liked both of these markers, but he was especially enamored of the chrome one. He said it was among the best metallic writers of any kind he has used, and the flow provided great coverage without getting runny.
Caran d'Ache Grafwood Pencil - Retail Value $3.65 (found on sale here for $2.98)
Would you pay $3.65 or a pencil? I was dubious, but then my husband broke it down for me by saying, "This is the best pencil I have ever owned." WOW. That's huge coming from an artist of his age and experience. He said the coverage was even and ample and soft and smooth... I think I might know what Santa is bringing my husband this Christmas!
Art Snacks is not a project box like we sometimes review with instructions and everything, but my husband always likes to do a sample drawing to show what can be done with the materials provided. Look at this precious clown he drew for us! He's so handy with drawing tools. This also qualifies as an #artsnackschallenge, which is Art Snacks' monthly challenge to create something using only the materials provided plus paper.
Verdict: Art Snacks is always so much fun! We get to try new fine arts/drawing supplies and tools, and I really think my husband enjoys the Art Snacks Challenge! This month's value about breaks even with the cost of the box, which is actually good for an art supply box, so I'm happy.
