I just ordered one. I feel like the price and amount of items is worth it.

I thought so too! And full size items! After seeing what was in it on YouTube though, I think it’s actully a much better deal to get their $10 smaller sets. I know it’s always nice to keep it a surprise for yourself but I’d personally prefer to know what I’m paying for. I didn’t see what was in it until after I purchased and now I’m hoping they’ll cancel the order and give me my money back. I really don’t need more nail polish!

Guys it turns out to be about $1.33 an item, do you still think it’s not worth it? I really want to get more than one calendar this year and this seems like a good deal.

Only you can decide that. 🙂
To me personally it isn’t because I already have the All About Matt powder and the I <3 Extreme mascara, and there is literally nothing else in the calendar I would want. I mean, I wouldn't mind the lipsticks, but they are certainly not worth $32 to me.

–With the coupon it’s only $1.33…

They do sell this brand at Target too..not the advent calendar but if anyone wanted to try something from the brand before committing to the advent calendar, you can find the brand at Target.

Oh, what a treat! With discount code DREAMON (Thank you so much, Jenny!) it is only $32. I’ve used up several face powders by Essence when I lived in Spain. It’s very high quality German brand with astonishingly low prices. I highly recommend.

And I forgot that their lipsticks are great too. I actually ended up 4 different shades. 🙂

With the coupon, it works out to $1.34 per full-size item. Unreal. But this company needs to learn to spell “matte” LOL.

I just watched the unboxing of this advent calendar on youtube, it definitely was not worth 39.99 to me! I think last years box was 24.99, and the lady in the youtube video said this one was 24.99. Why is it so expensive now? I think I’ll pass!!

I sought out and watched the same thing. I was so disappointed to see things like the gift bags and gift tags…seemed to be “cheap filler.” I was also not interested in the nail decals and whatever those skin decals were too so it was a no-go for me.

Same! Unfortanatly for me I watched the video AFTER I purchased. Hopefully it’s not too late to ask to cancel the order! They have $10 makeup bundles with 5 items in each that look like a much better deal.

It’s 24.99 British pounds, not US dollars. 🙂

I’ve never heard of this brand and I know Michelle said the mascara is the best but… that is some inexpensive makeup… you often get what you pay for in my experience. Anyone able to share other thoughts about quality??

You can watch the unboxing of this box on youtube. I didn’t think it was worth 39.99, and I like essence. Also, the lady in the video said she got hers for 24.99. I don’t know, but I just wasn’t impressed altogether. Maybe next year:)

That price was in British pounds, not US currency, just so you know.

I am not impressed with this either. Too many tools I am not going to use, too many stickers/ decals, too many nail polishes – I’d say all in all this is a box for teenagers.
Although if it was half that price, I would have probably still bought it – I know my 9y.o. niece would appreciate the nail decals and the tattoos. 🙂
In my opinion this advent calendar should not have been this much more expensive than the Target one.

A couple of weeks ago, Ipsy had a Essence deal. I bought it, after hearing how good the products are and how inexpensive they can be. I have tried their eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow. All of which were quite impressive, especially for the price. I want to try more of their items now. The eyeliner does not budge all day!

In my opinion the mascara in the green tube is the absolute best on the market. Nothing including every high end mascara I’v tried builds my 57 year old lashes like that does.
My sister has used the same mascara for 35 years and as soon as she tried this one she switched, its that good.
Their lipsticks are very creamy and the high liters are beautiful. I am jumping on this one as soon as my coupon comes in the email.

If you sign up for their mailing list, they send you a 20% off code (code they sent me was DREAMON). They also have some good stuff in the sale section – I got some blotting papers for $1.

The code worked for me too, saves me the hassle of having to subscribe to yet another newsletter. Thanks a bunch.

I figured the code seemed pretty generic. Glad it worked!
