The back of the Loot Anime "info card" has a poster on it! The back of the Loot Anime poster serves as the "info card" for the box, complete with a product list.

Instead of an info card, this box includes a folded poster with all the product info on the back. I love the poster this month! Cats all the way. The November theme is "Besties".

Seven Deadly Sins Pig Shaped Oversized Eraser Hawk Eraser Hawk Oversized Eraser Curly Tail on the Back of a Pig Eraser

Exclusive Seven Deadly Sins Hawk Oversized Eraser

This eraser is sooooo big and looks really cute sitting on my desk. It's perfectly pink and even has Hawk's curly lil tail! It's big and surprisingly heavy, too. From end to end, Hawk is about 3.5 inches long. I'm hesitant to use this eraser too much and lose its piggy shape! It might be a desk ornament for me, rather than a tool.

Exclusive Madoka Magica Madoka Kaname Figure

Eeee! So cute! I love this perfectly pink 3D rendering of Madoka—they nailed her outfit, from its buoyant hair bows to the layers of frills in her petticoat. She stands just about 7.5 inches tall and has a little white platform that you can pop her on for some extra stability. I'm consistently wowed by the quality of these Banpresto statuettes. The movement and detail are amazing!

K-On Manga K-On Manga A page from the Loot Anime K-On manga

Loot Crate Edition K-On! Manga

This K-On! manga has some full-color pages peppered in between the pages of traditional, black-and-white panels. If you're a stubborn reader, I feel like getting to those pages might help keep you reading along. I love funny stories like this one—these (somewhat) musical gals are cute and quirky and downright fun to follow.

One Piece Drawstring Backpack One Piece Drawstring Backpack Detail of the One Piece Drawstring Backpack

Exclusive One Piece Drawstring Bag

I've gotten quite a few drawstring bags in subscription boxes, but it's been awhile since I received one that was as nice-quality as this guy! I took it out of the box and was really surprised by how heavy it was. I think the fabric is something synthetic (it has that plastic-y kind of sheen to it), but the weave is solid and smooth. And of course, it's got Chopper on the front! What more could you want?

Purple Loot Anime mascot phone charm inside its package Purple cat phone charm Loot Anime mascot phone charm The black back of a purple loot anime mascot phone charm

Exclusive Loot Anime Cat Phone Charm

I've learned that this little cat is one of Loot Anime's mascots (along with Yume, the purple-haired gal from the poster). I'm a cat fan, so I like this charm for that fact alone. I've mentioned before how I'm not the biggest fan of phone charms, meaning I don't like them dangling around against my phone. But I've found plenty of other uses for these tiny charms, which appear in the box each month! My most recent move has been unclipping the charm from the fabric loop (it's just on there via a lobster-claw clasp) and popping it on a slim keychain ring.

The Verdict: I really liked this box! It had a lighthearted vibe that fit my personality and anime tastes, too. I love that everything is exclusive—it makes the box feel that much more valuable knowing that these aren't easy-to-find items that I could pick up at the mall or my favorite comic books and toy store. I found everything in the box to be really cool and high-quality, but I feel like the gorgeous exclusive Madoka figurine is what really makes the whole box worth it!

Is this box considered gender neutral? I don’t know anything about anime, but I ordered this as a Christmas gift for a cousin of mine. I opened it to make sure everything was in good condition, but after seeing the contents I’m not sure if he will like it because of the theme. Any thoughts?

More or less, yes. The manga is a a nice slice-of-life story, which is probably a bit more oriented towards females, but has both genders liking it.
The pig is from a shounen-fighting anime with lots of fan service. The eraser is probably a bit more cutesy than the general tone of the show, but w/e.
I suppose your biggest gripe was the Madoka figure, which is understandable given how it looks. Thing is, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica starts as the typical “Magical Girl” anime, but within the first 3 episodes it’s established that this is everything but that. As far as I know, the Madoka Magica crowd is heavily male.

I got this one with their 50% off coupon and I’m looking forward to getting it. The eraser is probably going to end up on my deal as well. It’s too cute to use!
