LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 Card

I don’t see any theme for this month’s box, but I appreciate that they listed details for all of the items.

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item 1 Stoneware ring dish

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item 1 Stoneware ring dish

Creative Co-Op Stoneware 4” Chicken Ring Dish - Listed Value $10

I couldn’t find the exact item on their website so I linked to a similar item instead.

This little white ring dish is so adorable! I like its minimal design and it has a nice weight to it. It will be perfect for jewelry, or even as a candy dish during Easter. Chicken is also my aunt’s favorite animal in the whole world and she collects everything chicken-related, so this will be a perfect gift when I visit her!

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item Terra Cotta Bowl

Creative Co-Op 4” Round Fluted Terra Cotta Bowl - Listed Value $8.50

I like minimalist design so this bowl is another hit for me! I’m not sure how this bowl is fall-related, but I think it would work great as a sauce bowl or even as a mini candle holder. The only downside is that this item is hand wash only, and I can be extremely lazy sometimes!

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item Tivoli Napkin Set

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item Tivoli Napkin Set

Via Tivoli Napkin Set in Sage - 18”x18” Listed Value $32

While I love the texture and pattern of these napkins, and I think it’s great that they sent a set of four good quality napkins in a box, I am not the biggest fan of this color. I find the color too muted and gloomy - and doesn’t really match with anything in my apartment, so this item will be gifted.

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item Cabana placemats

LuxePineapple Post Home October 2017 item Cabana placemats

15” Round Cabana Placemats Set - Listed Value $24

Since I moved to my current apartment in New York, I have to admit that I haven’t used any placemats at all. This set of placemat will definitely come in handy! They are simple, neat, and sturdy. However, I wish the color is more similar to the napkins (these placemats are slightly more brown than the napkins above, so they don’t really go well together).

Verdict: The listed value of this box is about $74.50, which is more than twice the cost of the box! I love their decorative dishes, but was a little bummed that I have to give away the napkin set, the highest-value item in the box. The LuxePineapple home box has been hit-and-miss for me, but I think this is usually the case with most home boxes. Fortunately, the items are usually of great quality, and you can always gift something if it’s not your cup of tea!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. The December box is now available for pre-order!

Value Breakdown: At $$34.99 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Chicken Ring Dish: $4.70
  • Terra Cotta Bowl: $3.99
  • Via Tivoli Napkin Set: $15.03
  • Round Cabana Placemats Set: $11.27

Jira discovered the world of subscription boxes when she first moved to New York in 2017 (subscription box is not a thing in her home country!). Thanks to MSA, she's now subscribed to almost 10 beauty and lifestyle boxes, with FabFitFun, BeautyFIX, and Clean Beauty Box as her favorites. Ps. Her boyfriend thinks that she's only subscribed to Ipsy, so please keep this a secret between us ;-)

Does anyone know if there are any discount codes for the December 2017 home box that’s available for pre-order??

if you find out, please let me know!! I actually love this box, i’m partial to white/grey though! I love a pop of color too! I think these placemats look way nicer and are more usable year around than the NM x PSMH glitter ones that would sit in a pantry for most of the years other than christmas + perhaps 4th of July! xx

I wish reviews were posted during the month they are for so *maybe* they could be purchased by those whom see the review and want it! So many lately that I”be seen in November that we’re for October and now no longer have the option since it was the previous months box….

Sometimes that can’t be helped, as some boxes (like this one) are pre-ordered and sell out before the month they are shipped out. I believe this one didn’t even ship until late in the month anyway, and it’s “technically” October/November as it’s bi-monthly. Reviews are posted as they get the boxes.

I think they previously advertised the theme as “fall”
