This month's theme is "Trick or Treat" - Hopefully there are a lot of treats and no tricks!
Also included is a notecard that gives a little descriptor about each product and the company.
Day of the Dead Temporary Tattoos, (2 tattoos) - Retail Value $4?
I was unable to find these tattoos in their Etsy shop, so the link above is to the store and my value is an estimate.
These temporary tattoos sure are eye-catching and the design is extremely beautiful - I especially love the subtle color scheme, which is a little softer compared to the bright sugar skulls I normally see. I can't see myself wearing these, but I think they'll be a great stocking stuffer for a friend who loves sugar skulls!
Trick or Treat Snax, 3 oz - Retail Value $4
This gluten-free snack is coconut based and consists of nuts, seeds, fruit and a little bit of chocolate! The snack itself is SO GOOD and has hints of cinnamon, which is perfect for my flavor palate and really reminds me of Fall. I think this would make a really good cereal if you added milk, but is perfect on its own. I can see myself ordering more in different flavors in the future because of how tasty this is!
Pumpkin Spice Sugar, 4.4 oz - Retail Value $6.50
This pumpkin spice blend is another perfect addition to this month's box and is right in line with the Trick or Treat, Fall theme! The spice is sugary and sweet, and the hints of pumpkin really come through, making this a perfect fall spice! I can see myself adding this to sugar toast in the mornings while sipping coffee or even adding to cereal or other sweet snacks - YUM!
Texas Shape Cookie - Estimated Value $5 (buy a 4-pack for $20)
This shortbread cookie is such a nice addition and a fun sweet treat in this month's box! The cookie itself is extremely delicious and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. The cookie is also HUGE, about the size of my hand, so it's great for sharing. The design of the cookie showcases the Congress Bat Bridge, which is in my favorite Texas city, Austin.
Caramel Apple S'more, 1 jar - Retail Value $5
This is a very interesting take on a S'more. It's a jar filled with marshmallows, caramel and apple jam. I think you could spread over a graham cracker or something similar, but I ate this by itself and have nothing but positives to say!
After mixing it up and getting all 3 ingredients in one bite - It's very delicious. If you get a chance to try this, I highly recommend!
Hocus Pocus Bath Bomb - Retail Value $7?
The Hocus Pocus scent is sold out, so the link above is to another scent.
This bath bomb is right in line with the Trick or Treat theme and a great addition to the box for all of you bath lovers out there! I'm not a big bath bomb person, so I think this will make a great stocking stuffer or random gift for a loved one. The scent has notes of amber and vanilla, which comes off pretty soothing and the green coloring will make a beautiful color in the tub when it gets used.
Verdict: My Texas Market does a great job of sticking to a theme and sending a wide range of quality products. The estimated value in this month's Trick or Treat box is $31.50, which is a few dollars shy of the $35 box + $8.32 shipping to PA. This doesn't bother me as I'm pretty happy with all products received and am happy to gift the ones that aren't up my alley.
