This month included items from The Shining, Halloween, 1408, Christine, Trick’R Treat, The Rabbit in Red Series, and Brainscan.
This booklet included gives you details on the items included in this month’s box. Pretty handy!
Jack Torrance Enamel Pin- Estimated Value $10
HERE’S JOHNNY! I am so excited about this month’s BAM! Pin! Each month you will get a limited edition BAM! Horror pin. October featured The Shining by Space Cadet Collective in three iconic designs: Jack Torrance, Danny Torrance (limited edition only 250), and The Grady Twins (limited edition of only 50!). I got Jack, which was fine by me!
P.J. Soles Autographed Photo — Estimated Value??
HECK YES! This may be my favorite item in this BAM! Box! Ms. Riff Randall herself! Some of my favorite movies starred P.J. Soles like, shucks, Rock’n’Roll Highschool that also starred some obscure band called The Ramones, Stephen King’s Carrie, Stripes, and Halloween! I am having a fangirl moment here, can you tell?
As always, this signed photograph comes with a certificate of authenticity.
1408 Key Prop Replica from Dark Matter Props - Estimated Value $25?
Man, I haven’t thought of this movie in years! I saw this movie in theaters because I have a lifetime fondness of John Cusack. The hotel key is well made of an aged brass material and is a neat collector piece for anyone that likes Stephen King movies.
Christine License Plate Prop Replica - Estimated Value $15?
Speaking of Stephen King movies, here is another replica prop from a movie based on one of his creepy tales! This is a legitimate aluminum license plate and could easily be displayed on a wall.
“It’s Me, Sam” Trick’r Treat Fan Art Collection Print by Steve McGinnis - Estimated Value $25?
Appropriately for Halloween, we have a Sam from Trick’r Treat print. The month of October had a chase variant numbered out of 250.
I absolutely love the style of this artist’s work.
This piece is signed and numbered by the artist. It also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Rabbit in Red Signed Download Card by Author, Joe Chianakas - Estimated Value $25?
Included is a downloadable copy of the first two books in The Rabbit in Red trilogy. I have never heard of this series, but it apparently was voted the best horror book of 2016 in the Summer Indie Book Awards. The third book in this series came out this Halloween.
Brainscan Fan Art Collection Sublimated Patch — Estimated Value $10?
Finally, we have a patch with art for the 1994 sci-fi horror film, Brainscan. This is a real blast from the past movie that starred Edward Furlong from the Terminator movies and Detroit Rock City. Wild!
Verdict: This is my first BAM! Horror Box and I am really enjoying it so far. I like that there are some obvious cult favorites like Halloween, Shining, and Trick’r Treat and some more obscure ones like Brainscan and the Rabbit in Red books included in this month’s box. Far and away, my favorite item was the signed P.J. Soles picture! That also is probably the priciest item in this box! I have gone to my fair share of horror and comic conventions and trust me, they can be costly! An autographed photo typically starts at the low end of $25 at a convention, so getting a signed photograph and other fandom goodies for $26.99 plus shipping is a sweet deal!
