I received an information card that highlights exactly what you can expect from Toy Box On The Go and how to get in touch with them. I also received this hand-written note from the person that curated the box that I received! This note was personalized with awesome stamps on the front of the envelope and added a very special touch that I really appreciate!
Thomas & Friends Take-N-Play - Retail Value $9.89
My son loves trains and is just starting to watch more Thomas & Friends. This was the perfect toy to add to his other train sets. While it is smaller, this is a great train for him to play with in his highchair while waiting for lunch. He also really enjoyed having his action figures ride on the train which was very entertaining! There weren't many pieces so putting it together was a breeze, and you can either use the Thomas train or Rosie (the purple train).
Thomas & Friends Minis - Estimated Value $1.50 (Buy a pack of 3 for $4.50)
Another adorable Thomas & Friends set! This train is even smaller than our first train, but it is the perfect size to play with when he is seated. I brought this with us when we were eating out for dinner and it was a great distraction without being too bulky. I have also found that he loves just holding onto toys throughout the day so I caught him carrying this with him on our walk the other day!
Step Into Reading: Thomas Goes Fishing - Retail Value $4.99 (found on sale here for $3.99)
Receiving books is always a big plus for me and my son! He loves to read so adding a new book to our collection is great and keeps our assortment fresh. Again, he is really into trains lately and loved the big bold pictures in this book. This is a 'Step Into Reading' series which helps your little one as they learn to read. I can't wait to use this in a few years as we begin teaching him words and how to read. For now, I am loving reading this fun Thomas story to him!
Melissa & Doug On the Go Water Wow! - Estimated Value $4.77 (Buy a 2 pc for $9.53)
Melissa & Doug is a brand that is very popular in my house! It can be a more expensive brand depending on what item you are buying so it was a treat to see this Water Wow! book in the box. We have another book like this, but it is much bigger and sometimes too bulky to take with us in the car. I found that this flip book is great for him to play with in the car, and the water pen allows him to color without the mess! Since the pen is filled with water, you can reuse the pages and pen over and over again. The pictures are so bold and easy for him to navigate through as well which is always a plus.
Mr. Potato Head Rescue Bots: Optimus Prime - Retail Value $9.99
Mr. Potato Head was one of my favorite toys when I was little, I love sharing such a traditional toy with my son. I have to admit, I am still catching up on all of the action figures and characters that my son is quickly getting into so I had to ask my husband what Optimus Prime is from. This little guy doesn't have the traditional Mr. Potato Head pieces but comes with the cool mask, arms, and feet that attach nicely. My son has an Optimus Prime mask and was very excited to see this character again with this mini Mr. Potato Head. A big hit!
Firefly Jar Craft Kit - Estimated Value $1.33 (Buy a box of 12 for $15.99)
I am at home with my son full-time and am constantly looking for fun crafts that we can do together. It is so exciting for both of us when a craft comes in a box like this! This craft kit comes with everything you need and a big plus is that you don't need to glue anything. The instructions are easy in showing you where to stick each piece to your jar, and it even comes with the glow stick that allows your firefly to really glow. A super fun craft for both you and your little one to enjoy together!
Holiday Sticker Set - Retail Value $3.00?
Stickers are such a fun and easy craft that keeps your little one's attention and their imagination going! My son had a ball putting the pumpkin faces on his paper and really made some silly designs. Now that we are starting to talk about Thanksgiving, the turkey and fall sets will be perfect for him to really start to understand and learn more about the festivites that are coming up!
Thanksgiving Activity Set - Retail Value $1.00?
This activity set is so cute! Another great way to get your little one excited and talking about Thanksgiving. My son loved coloring the turkey and pumpkins. I think the maze is a bit advanced for him, but he was still able to color on the page and put some stickers on the turkey path.
Leaf Stamps, Set of 2 - Retail Value $1.00?
Our final item for the month is this stamp set of fall leaves. I just took my son to a craft hour that talked about leaves so this was a fun reminder for him! He loved playing with the stamps and putting the leaves on anything he could find. Another great craft activity for both of us to enjoy.
Verdict: Toy Box On The Go for the win! Like I said earlier, I am home with my son full-time and am constantly looking for fun activities that we can do together, especially now that it is getting colder outside. This box basically saved me a week of planning crafts and various activities! He loved all of the toys that we received this month as well, and they really introduced him to some new characters that he is just starting to get into. Toy Box On The Go really felt like a special box from the hand-written note and the overall curation that felt perfect for my son!
