The ZBOX
3.5 overall rating
10 Ratings | 6 Reviews

ZBox is a geeky subscription box that ships from the UK. Each month has it's own theme to which they send an exclusively designed t-shirt and 4 to 7 products.

ZBox sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: ZBox

The Cost: $22.99

The Products: The ZBOX is a monthly geek box themed around your favorite geeky interests, from zombies and the undead to retro games and pop culture. Each month you will be sent a box containing over £35 ($48) worth of exclusive, licensed merchandise.

Ships To: Worldwide

Each month, ZBox will have a theme around their box. This month's theme was Chaos and items from Flash Gordon, V for Vendetta, Hellboy, Suicide Squad, and Loki!

It always comes with an information booklet.

Inside you'll find stories and interviews around the theme along with information on all of the items in your box.

Suicide Squad Pin - Value $5

Each month comes with a pin - and this month features the Suicide Squad!

V For Vendetta Shirt - Value $15?

I don't think it gets much more 'Chaos' than V for Vendetta - so this is a really appropriate exclusive shirt this month!

Hellboy Cult Vinyl Figure - Value $10-15?

I received a Captain Scarlet CUlt Vinyl figure in my August ZBox - but Hellboy is my easy favorite from the line.

These are exclusive to My Geek Box and ZBox. They stand about 3 inches tall and all have that same chunky form.

Katana DC Multiverse Figure - List Price $20 ($7.48 on Amazon)

Each subscriber gets a figure from the DC Multiverse line - they'll each be from the Suicide Squad movie.

I got Katana. If you're familiar with the DC Collectibles line of figures - these are pretty similar, though not preferred from me.

Collect all of the Suicide Squad members to construct Killer Croc. I feel like so many toys have the 'Build-A-Figure' feature now - definitely a great way to get you to buy the whole set.

Loki Magnet - Value $5-10?

The Loki item is something to pop on your fridge. It's the classic Loki costume with his classic colors all over it.

Ming the Merciless Print - Value $10?

The final item is an 8x10 print from the cult classic Flash Gordon. Mine came a bit dinged up on the side - it's not shipped in a sleeve, but this was the first time it's arrived like this.

Verdict: At $23, there is definitely a lot of value from this box. If you're ok with less exclusive items and are looking for geeky items you might be able to buy anywhere - this can be a good option for you. I've been impressed lately, and I hope it keeps up going into 2018!

The pin is actually from The Purge: Anarchy. I thought it was Suicide Squad too, but after looking at the book, it’s clearly from The Purge.
