Raluca Bra and Panty Set, Size 36B Bra, Size Large Cheeky Bottoms - Retail Price $49.95, VIP Price $39.95

I was soooo excited to find this bra and panty set while browsing the (many) looks available from Adore Me. The mix of lace, strong, semi-shiny lines, sheer details, and warm gray color all speak to my modern-but-still-feminine style. The pieces are flirtatious, but not in an overly flowery way, and whether worn independently or together, the looks are just... well.... cool!

I've been on a real unlined-bra kick, which has been partially enabled by the numerous Adore Me unlined options. Granted, I'm on the smaller side, bust-wise, but I've found the unlined Adore Me styles I've tried to be surprisingly supportive. In this case, the sturdy bottom band and well-fitted soft "cups" made me feel like I was, er, held in securely from all angles. Since the band is wider than typical bras, and since my body is a bit on the squishier side, I felt most comfortable in it when I was standing up straight. If I slouched a little or bent over my laptop, the band liked to scrunch up a bit. It wasn't uncomfortable... just not ideal. But hey, not a bad reason to work on my posture!

The undies are cute, too. (Er, "panties". I don't have a good reason why, but I am just so meh about that word! Anyone else?) They echo the same design as the bra but have a totally sheer back. How very (literally and figuratively) cheeky!  I found them pretty comfy, too. They don't lay perfectly smoothly against my bod (the elastic bands on each side made very gentle "m" shapes on each hip), but they were still comfy and perfectly fine so long as I'm not wearing something super form-fitting.

The Verdict: Once again, I really loved my Adore Me set! This set is totally me. It feels akin to the kind of style I'd see at Urban Outfitters or smaller boutiques. I like it so much that I might have to pick it up the lighter, icy-gray version, too! I feel like I'm always excited when it comes time to shop for my next Adore Me look. The selection is awesome and covers such a wide range of aesthetics. Plus, the fit has been pretty impressive. This look wasn't a perfect, tailor-made-for-my-body fit, but it was really comfortable... so like, a 9 out of 10 fit if I had to judge. Not bad. Plus, I just personally love that I didn't have to pick over a tangled rack of sizes at a store to find my size (in both the top and the bottom). And I've gotten enough wins with Adore Me that I trust that if I order my usual size, it should work for me.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It looks like this set is almost sold out 🙁  But another colorway (called "Mimi") is still available! Check it out and shop their other selections, too!

Value Breakdown: This look cost $39.95, which according to the site, comes in at $10.00 under the $49.95 retail value.

Yea the word “panties” is right up there with “moist”. Yucky.

As for the word panties. Once, my young niece was talking about seeing a news story on MTV where Sebastian Bach, this was the eighties, was on stage and he took off his pants and everyone “could see his panties.” It was so funny to me at the time. I too do not care for that word. Brings to mind, Sienfield, when he was pressured to talk dirty to a woman and says, ” Are those the panties you’re mother laid out for you?”

That set is beautiful, by the way.

I adore that bra! I own it and the other color for it. It’s super comfy but I find the undies a little uncomfortable and itchy.

Oh no! They haven’t been an issue for me yet, but it stinks that the undies are bugging you! I’m glad the bra is working out. I find it soooo comfortable – it’s always nice (and rarer than it should be) to find a bra that fits nicely, offers a nice bit of support, and looks cool, to boot!

Thanks for sharing your experience, Anna! (Great name, btw 😉 )
