Allure Beauty Box Review – December 2017 + $5 Coupon

I re-subbed recently and just got the December box, but the Becca highlighter was missing. Did anyone else not get theirs? It was one of the main reasons I decided to re-sub, so I’m hoping I can still get it if I contact customer service.

Has anyone received their Thrills Box from the Better than Black Friday deal? Do you know- if I was a previous subscriber that cancelled, will I still get the Tarte Blush for the new subscriber? I cancelled more than a year ago after receiving 4 boxes. Thanks!

Becca compact contained pulverized powder that has now glitterized my entire box.

I received my December box on the 15th, and so far I’ve only tried the mascara. I really like the formula and loving the applicator brush…its huge and my lashes love it! I have such a huge stash of products I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to try the rest. The Morphe brush is packaged so nicely, I won’t open it until I am in need of a new blending brush, which won’t be until next century! And the Purity cleanser is sealed, so it can keep for awhile. The Becca highlighter and Oribe hair texturizer will have to wait til summer. I will certainly be trying the primer as soon as my current primer is done. BUT what I really wanted to share with everyone is FYI: I’ve tried the Cargo Bali blush we got several boxes ago. It goes on really blotchy as a blush so I kinda stashed it away at the bottom of my makeup case. Well, I rediscovered it today and thrilled to say it makes a KILLER eye shadow! Try it on your eyelids…so pretty! Anyway, this December box is one of the best. Can’t wait to get my January box. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone! 🙂

I received an email Nov 27 saying my package had shipped … still haven’t received anything. And I needed it to gift some of the items for Christmas 🙁

I just checked my account and saw the tracking info there even though I haven’t received any email. Those of us who haven’t gotten any shipping notification may be able to find out if theirs are coming by doing the same. I will wait patiently for the box to come to me from 3 hours away and most likely stay subscribed for at least another month for the fabulous January box.

I am so disappointed with this better than black Friday deal. My November box was missing the hey honey and the new subscriber gift and the mascara was dried out. I still haven’t gotten my December box or the replacement items from November. And they still haven’t shipped my beauty thrills box. I had to call 3x and they don’t have any information really. Just said that the warehouse and usps lost a truck.

i signed up on dec 6th and still have not received my box or tracking number. i try to log into my acct, and it says i don’t have an acct under that email address… this is just a hot mess for me. not pleased…

Uhhh, did anyone else get theirs with an ORM-D sticker on it, which means that it contains a hazardous material??

There was no other explanation, just a sticker. If there’s something in one of these products they are concerned about putting through the mail, should we be worried about putting it on our face?

Or was someone at my post office just screwing with me?

I like the real contents, but the BaubleBar item is a COUPON, not a gift card. Disappointing. I hope they don’t make it a habit to include coupons in the box and consider it part of the value.

No complaints here! I signed up for Allure Box in November & received the full sized Tarte Amazon Clay Blush. I also just received this months box and I’m loving it, and am very happy with all of the items because I will use every single one of one of thems. They aren’t all full sized but bigger then the usual samples that I currently receive in most of the other sample boxes I get. I’m going to use the Baublebar coupon and am treating myself to a monogram necklace. So for $15 I’m getting $20 off a really cute piece of jewelry, deluxe sized samples, and an awesome makeup brush!

I just received my box yesterday….no email or tracking information…it just showed up. And maybe I hyped this box up in my head because everything looks so good on paper, but I was slightly disappointed with this month. All the samples just seemed so small compared to the stuff I usually get from Allure. I realize it might be due to the items being higher end or higher value than the norm….That said, Allure is still my second favorite sub after Boxy. And I’m looking forward to January.

Once again I got the same things that I received last month, the primer, face wash and mascara. That’s kinda ridiculous! It isn’t an auto renew product box, how about trying a little harder #AllureBeautyBox. The products are great but the originality is not!

Got mine today. Never got a notice that it shipped. I’ve only gotten that once, and I had the box the next day.

I really wanted to gift this box and I haven’t received any confirmation yet. I’m literally gonna cry if it doesn’t come before Christmas 😩

I just got my box!! Yesterday and I love it all. It’s amazing , and the Becca highlighter is for sure the hero in this. This is going to be my all time favorite box especially since I’m getting a full size Sunday Riley 😍 but calling them is useless I called them that same day which was yesterday and they told me that it’s in the warehouse and sure enough mail cane and it was in my mailbox. You just have to wait! You don’t get emails , or anything like that. Just know they have no clue about the leaving of any boxes .

It’s the 15th and no sign of my box shipping. My boxes usually ship around the 10th – e.g., October box shipped on the 9th, November box on the 10th. Should I worry?

Ladies, if I subscribed in the begining of this month and today got refund 10$, but checked my account and it says still active, what does it mean? Will I get my box or no?

That M433 blending brush is so scratchy that I cannot blend with it. I bought it way back and recently threw it away lol

I think this December box may be one of my favorite sub boxes ever. Wow!!

It looks like you may have a price discrepancy on the Becca highlighter- a “mini” that retails for $19 is 7 grams of product. The one sent appears to be a sample with 2.4 grams.

so i just sign up to get the december box a ek ago, do you know more or less will i get it? how long do they take to ship it?

I’m still relatively new to this subscription box world but I am constantly impressed by the value of the Allure box. Maybe I’m naïve but I never expect my $15 purchase to have a value of $50 plus I truly only expect cool and interesting products some of which I’m familiar with and others that are new to me. sometimes I read the spoilers and other times I don’t just because I want to be surprised like a little kid who’s getting Christmas presents every month. And yes certainly some months are better than others but then I just give away the items that I can’t use and keep the ones that I love. Currently I am on product overload status in my New Year’s resolution is I’m going to have to cut back on some of the subscriptions I currently receive but I definitely feel Allure has a great value every single month regardless if it includes items that I can use. I’m not sure what peoples expectations are for a $15 box but I am always happy every month to receive my Redbox in the mail. Just my two cents!!

I still haven’t received my NOVEMBER box.
