The theme for Bokksu's January 2018 box is "New Year Festival":
Happy New Year! This month's theme celebrates the New Year in Japan when everything is decorated in the traditional colors of red and white. Red and white are symbolically important in Japan as the colors of the Japanese flag but are also commonly used during joyous celebrations. Every year before midnight on New Year’s Eve, Japan tunes into the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, a music program that splits the most popular singers of the year into competing Red and White teams. It's a time to celebrate the year past and the fresh start to come. This month, we are delighted to welcome you into the new year with our delicious snacks curated around Japanese New Year’s colors and flavors such as red, white, and mochi!

I SO wanted to subscribe to this box! I was hoping for a crazy awesome Black Friday, etc. deal but nothing magical appeared. If only budget was not such a consideration! : (

I really love the presentation of this box. Very well curated. I guess I just wish there were more of each snack in the box at this price point.
Especially those peppered cheesy snacks in last months box – WHERE CAN I BUY THEM? They were divine.
